This hotel is ideally situated if you are working nearby. It is close to the local pubs and restaurants. The hotel is soon to open a self contained flat which would be excellent if you were working long term in the area. ||The couple who own the hotel are really kind and full of enthusiasm. We visited as part of our John O’Groats to Land’s End cycle trip. The hosts looked after our bikes, storing them securely and gave us free access to them. The rooms were clean and there was plenty of hot water! Very good

Cheap, manager/landlady is very approachable but having this change my entire long term plans because I wasn't a 'good fit' for commenting on the young lad next door smoking like a chimney left a bitter taste.
And it's in Runcorn

For the price can not be beaten, I have stayed in many of the hotels in and around Runcorn this one by far for price and location is the best.
