I had dinner with friends, I booked for 3pm so late afternoon. The service was slow and completely uninterested in us. No one cleared our table until the evening staff came in. The evening girl was a completely different, bright and helpful. The food was OK just. The tomato and mozzarella salad £8 had 5 super thin slices of tomato and a few really small flecks of mozzarella. The cauliflower was nice and the crispy chicken was soggy (I wonder if it was microwaved) but loads of it which was a bit strange . For the money I'd rather go somewhere nice. And have good food and service . Sorry no recommendation from me.

Came here a few times with my other half now and never had a bad experience. From their great selection of beers on tap to the amazing tapas on the menu there is something here for everyone. On this occasion one thing we ordered was forgotten but that was ok because we couldn't finish what we had on the table anyway, our servers were nice enough to have it made and put in a takeaway box for us to enjoy when we got home and they took that item off of our bill. If we lived in Horndean we'd be visiting all the time.

Excellent food and experience, we had their brunch which was very tasty and prepared with quality ingredients, the presentation was also very appealing. My husband had their egg chorizo meal, I had avocado toast and our daughter the croquetas. Friendly and attentive service too. If we're in the area again we'll be back for more!

Having not been for about 3 years, I was hoping the standards were still the same and was not disappointed. Great food, great service, friendly and attentive staff. Good atmosphere and music. Still highly recommend 👌

I came with some work colleagues it was busy and the music was very loud. It has a trendy feel about it and I must say the Christmas decorations were lovely. Toilets upstairs were so so, urine on the floor. The period features in the building were beautiful I loved the fireplace. The other clientele were off putting I guess they are attracted to the trendiness and vibe of the place, loud, shouty, obnoxious, and not discouraged by the staff. Our table was for 8pm and our food order was not taken until 8.50pm. The first set of drinks brought to us were not ours, water was forgotten and I had to remind. Out of the 3 cocktails I sampled two were excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed them. My colleagues also enjoyed their drinks. Tapas food came out as it was ready and I liked this, it was a hit and miss bag on the food, some tasty bits some things not so or quality seemed lacking. No serving spoons brought with the dishes and had to ask for some no steak knives and as the meat was tough and chewy they were needed. A cup of tea forgotten later had to be asked for again. All and all it was an ok meal but not amazing food and bits lacking on the service side, some polishing needed. For younger adults with different expectations I can see why they rate it. I was pleasantly surprised however when the bill came, averaged at £55 per head which is extremely reasonable.

Went for my birthday last night, got seated straight away even though we were early which was nice. We ordered our drinks, all was good as we were waiting for our friend. When she turned up we ordered our food. It wasn't overally busy, but the pizza came out burnt.
Noone checked to see if we were all okay. All the other tapas dishes were lovely.
We were then asked if we would like dessert and we said we will look at the menu (this was 2140) they never came back to see if we wanted dessert (it was my birthday, I wanted dessert 😂). Time past and we wanted to leave, my friend was waving at the staff who were being spoken to by what seemed like the managed for half an hour. It got to half 10, we got up and went to the till where all of a sudden they started working again.... The atmosphere was lovely, but there's definitely room for improvement. I was disappointed.
