Very lovely hotel, rooms are huge and very clean with grounds beautifully maintained. Surrounding area is peaceful and scenic. Staff are fantastic, very friendly and efficient. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we were out exploring the local villages but the breakfast was one of the best we've had, everything was cooked perfectly. Chef cooks as people arrive so the food was hot and fresh. For us, we judge the breakfast on the quality of the sausages and they were excellent. Would recommend.

Met colleagues for an all-day meeting. Room we had was great, no issues. The service we received from the staff was excellent. The food we had was superb, particular mention for the sausage rolls, and everything was fresh, well cooked and seasoned perfectly. Once again I would like to mention the service, especially the lady who dealt with us all day. Thank you.

Attend the night event of a wedding and when we arrived there were uncleared glasses all over the bar and public areas. Ladies toilet really needed checking. Glasses and other general debris still not cleared on our late night departure!
On a positive the evening food was excellent and the venue beautiful.

Spacious room and bathroom and comfy bed. Helpful, friendly staff and great breakfast. Wardrobe needed a dust and shower had no power but overall good stay at a good price. Big tv and flame effect fire. Minimal tea and coffee and water only supplied first 2 nights

This Hotel is an absolute gem… 2nd time here, and this suite was even more beautiful than the 1st. Furnished modern but homely, and spotlessly clean, in the rooms and throughout the whole property.
Multiple lighting in the suite, to create whatever ambience you want, two tv’s ( although bedroom one was a little small for me with not great eyesight) cute little balcony to sit out on. The bedroom has the most spacious comfortable bed. Great area for doing hair and make up , plenty of plugs and mirrors. Plenty of wardrobe/ drawer space. Bathroom contains separate toilet and shower cubicle.
The bar had a great singer on, creating a lovely atmosphere for drinks and dinner. As last time, the food was delicious, the drinks menu varied, and surroundings very tasteful.
The breakfast ( included) featured both cooked and continental, was varied and hot, good choice of food items and juices.
The staff from reception, bar staff ,waiters and waitresses , management were all lovely, very polite, pleasant and helpful.
We will definitely be back again, can’t praise this place enough.

First impression was lovely. Room was fine ,bathroom spotless. On using the pool and changing room noticed it was not very clean and could do with a refurb. Also second day there was a swimming instructor teaching kids . Very loud and ended up not staying there. The meal in the restaurant was amazing as were the staff. Huge portions and very tasty. Unfortunately we found drug paraphernalia and used underwear when the tv remote went under sofa cushion. Took these to reception next day and explained wasn't very pleased about that. Staff member showed no interest whatsoever. We didn't even receive an apology. Also the heating system was very noisy in our room and woke us up numerous times. Get the impression if you are not a big group e.g. wedding party ,then you're not really treated as a guest. We mostly went out in the day and found local area to be lovely

Great hotel, comfortable rooms, very clean, some items a bit dated, TVs for example, but these are being upgraded atm. Restaurant provides a nice Artisan menu, and good bar and staff. Breakfast are lovely (Eggs Benidict). 7kW EV chargers, nice staff. I'm a regular customer.

We stayed here for three nights with family celebrating a special occasion. We purchased this through wowcher for a very reasonable price and had 5 rooms in total. The staff were super helpful (Warren, David and the lovely man in the restaurant, sorry i didn't get your name) and catered for all our needs. The food was amazing, both breakfast and dinner. We could not fault the food in any way, some of the best we've eaten! The rooms were big, but we did upgrade to a suite. They needed a little upgrading though, as they were looking quite tired. A paint, new sofas, and carpets were needed, but I had heard this was a work in progress for the new owner. They were clean and the radiators had thermostats on so you could set your own temp in the room. Saying that, my mum had the honeymoon suite, which was beautiful! If all rooms are finished like this, it will be a win-win in our eyes. The suites had balconies, which was an added bonus. The hotel is in a lovely area surrounded by beautiful countryside and lovely days out. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Thank you Foxfields, we will return!
