Absolutely stunning place to stay! We loved the location and the rooms inside were beautiful, we loved the old fashion bathroom! I would definitely recommend this place. We only had one small downside which was the washers are shared and found it hard to get our stuff in the washers before other. Overall amazing place! It's also close to the peak district which has plenty of fun hiking trails.

Self catered mini apartments. Did what it said on the tin.

The advertisement stated the kitchen would be stocked with cooking oils, condiments etc, but it wasn't.

The hot tap was literally boiling water. Not an issue in itself, but I nearly burned myself every time I went to wash my hands. Sloppy finish in terms of paintwork around the apartment, particularly around the windows.

A tonne of cobwebs in the building which makes me think the place probably hasn't had a proper clean in weeks, if not months.

Worst part by far was when a total stranger just walked in to our apartment thinking it was his. Didn't seem phased by the couple sat on the couch screaming at him to stop.

beds were extremely comfortable, though there was no storage at all. Fridge was small, and the floor boards were creaky. Was nice and clean, there was 6 of us and we managed. One tiny set of toiletries provided, soap was provided too. No sanitary products though? Cookies were also left along with tea, coffee and sugar. all in all, decent holiday in a small town. These floor boards might drive me mad though!

We booked the place to celebrate our friend's baby's birthday. The surroundings were really amazing. We really did feel like home. The interior were really great. It was really neat and tidy. It was worth for the money we paid. The hosts were really responding and they did come to meet us to clear our doubts. That is really appreciated.

There was nothing that we had to bring. Even the kitchenwares were all there. We do recommend this place for a peaceful country side stay. We would for sure will visit again. We did celebrate our cutiepie's bday really great.

If there was an option for unbearable then it would be just that. ||||Describing this place is very hard to picture or visualize, but let’s just say it felt as though I was living in another World. And that world being a nightmare of pure and utter rubbish.||||Booking this place was a last resort and after issues with Rachel, which was where the issues begun, well I knew we were in for a very unbearable and difficult weekend in the middle of no where. On arrival finding rats running around the so called ‘car park’, which was basically another hazard and easier to smash into the wall and writing off the car, then a safe place to park my caravan. Walking in to find a ridiculously bad odor lingering around the very small and extremely basic ‘living room’ (more like somewhere I wouldn’t even keep my dogs let alone any human being). Moving onto the bedrooms with one single bed which my friend described as “mission impossible”, and by impossible he meant he suffered problems with sleep as he looked up to the ceiling thinking about why he even agreed to stay in this castle. On the other hand my partner and I had the luxury of a double bed. Which sadly turned out to be only a thought after finding multiple hairs and toe nails under the duvet covers.||||And then finally the bathroom. All that needs to be said here guys is make sure you bring some deodorant or shower for a good few hours before coming to this place. Or accept the water giving you frostbite or 3rd degree burns. There’s no in between. The choice is yours, be smelly or end up in A&E.||||Such a shame as the location is beautiful. Really hurts to see such a let down of a place for what could have been. Hopefully with a better host than Rachel in the future and also some much need refurbishment it will finally reach its true potential.||||But for now do not fall for the trap of the pictures on website. Do not waste a single penny on this s*** show. God bless you all and I hope all of you read this and think twice before booking this extremely depressing place.||||Cheers Rachel!

Comfortable stay for a local wedding in the village. Beautiful view across to the church. Easy walk down to Low Bradfield - bit of a climb back up but quite doable. Compact kitchen with all that was needed for a weekend.

Great accommodation. Very clean (even on top of cupboards), modern and well furnished with cooking utensils, matching crockery, furniture etc. Staff were friendly and helpful.
My only complaint was that there was no shower in our accommodation, only a bath. Otherwise, this place is excellent and should be an example for other cottages/hotels

A beautiful setting for our wedding. The scenery is amazing and the cottages are well stocked and clean. Katie and Rachel were great and were around majority of the time to help with anything we needed. We had the most wonderful weekend here!
