A slice of nostalgia. It's like stepping back to the 70's and 80's, in an good way. From the décor to the Garlic mushroom, Pate on toast and Prawn Cocktail it was excellent. The steak was superb and the service was lovely. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended.

Great old school English restaurant that specialises in a great steak and chips . The peppercorn sauce could have been a bit thicker but not an issue as was still tasty. The chips are top draw and steak was cooked the way I wanted it . (Medium Rare) I will return one day .

What a lovely find , so glad I chose here instead of a pub . Food was great I had half roasted chicken . Prices are very reasonable . I will certainly eat here again

We had a meal there last night.
We both had steaks, one rump and one sirloin. It was very nicely presented and tasted superb.
We 'relunctantly' squeezed in some pudding !! which again was very tasty. The service was very friendly and efficient. Would very definitely go again. It would seem that booking is necessary.
