Review of Frogmore Leisure Centre

I recently had the opportunity to visit Frogmore Leisure Centre, and while I was looking forward to a great experience, I unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed—especially with the quality of the 4G pitch.

Firstly, the overall facility has a lot of potential. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated the variety of activities offered at the centre. However, the main reason I visited was to play on the 4G pitch, and this is where my experience took a turn for the worse.

The pitch itself was in a shoddy condition. For a facility that markets itself as having a modern 4G surface, I expected a well-maintained area that would provide a good playing experience. Unfortunately, the turf was uneven in several places, with patches that felt worn down and lacked proper grip. This made it difficult to play comfortably, and I found myself worrying about potential injuries due to the poor surface.

Additionally, the overall cleanliness around the pitch left much to be desired. There were bits of litter and debris scattered around, which detracted from the experience and made the environment feel less inviting. It’s disappointing to see a venue with so much potential not putting in the effort to maintain its facilities properly.

While I understand that maintenance can be a challenge, especially in a busy leisure centre, the state of the 4G pitch needs urgent attention. I hope that the management takes feedback seriously and invests in the necessary improvements. Until then, I can’t wholeheartedly recommend Frogmore Leisure Centre for those looking for a quality playing surface.

In summary, while the centre offers a variety of activities and has friendly staff, the condition of the 4G pitch is a significant drawback. I hope to see improvements in the future, as I would love to return and have a more enjoyable experience.

A good size gym, cheap price but filthy. Absolutely no chance that any level of deep cleaning occurs. Every photo below is a different machine. I can't believe they have ever seen a cloth and spray down

Big Gym with plenty of equipment, changing rooms have access to Sauna and Steam room, regular classes, and a 3g pitch, no swimming pool.
