Made a short stopover here on the way to Eton triathlon. ||The first thing to say is that I had to arrive very late but they were more than happy to accommodate this. ||The hotel is comfortable, quiet and clean. Free wi-fi throughout and all en suite.||This is a family run business and the owners are friendly and approachable and take an obvious and well deserved pride in all aspects of the hotel.||Breakfast was excellent and tea and coffee are freely available at all times in the large common room. This is a very pleasant departure from the usual in room arrangement. ||Thoroughly recommended.

This is in a good location for Slough. It's located in a residential area and is a conversion property from residential. My twin room was small with beds in a linear rather than side by side configuration. Nice (newish) wet room with toile wash hand basin. One of the beds squeaked a bit but relatively comfortable. I arrived late and left early. Minimal interaction with manager who was pleasant. I got a cheap late deal - for full price hmm... maybe a bit over? I stayed one night on business and it was OK. Rooms werebasic - I didn't check out the 'Common Room' where you could get tea and coffee.

We stayed for 3 nights. The location is very convenient for visiting Wexham Park Hospital. Our twin bedroom was small and basic but clean, with an en suite. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, and we slept well as it's a quiet residential area. We didn't see many other guests as we were usually last up for breakfast. They offer cereals and toast, and a cooked breakfast. The common room has a small kitchen area for tea and coffee. The hosts were friendly and made us feel welcome.

This place deserves all the praise that it has received. I was working on an engineering project and needed a B&B/Hotel for the duration of this project (21 days). I stumbled across the Furnival lodge via Tripadvisor and it seemed to ticked all the boxes! The Furnival Lodge is an oasis in the middle of Slough, it's very clean, quiet, calming with nice beds and pillows......And after a long day in a loud engineering environment, it was almost perfect! I say almost perfect, the only minor thing missing was a microwave in the kitchen......However all the other facilities were spot on, I even managed to what Man Utd place as they have BT Sports as part of the in room TV System!!! The guys that run and own the place were lovely and very genuine.....Nothing was too much like hard work for them! The local facilities were great, lots of takeaways, shops and even a laundrette. Your only a ÂŖ9 taxi fare away from Winsor! When this engineering project comes around again in 12 months time......I'll be back there again in a heartbeat!! Many thanks!!

We stayed 2 days for a friend's wedding and were rather pleased with the price and what you get for it.
It is true that a restaurant is not nearby but the staff recommended a really nice pub, The Duke's Head, some 15 minutes walk from there and it was really worth it.
The room and the bed were adequate, we slept well, everything was clean, nothing remarkable to say here.
Also the breakfast was delicious and served to us by a thoughtful and caring owner.

Stayed for two nights on a business trip. Friendly and laid back staff. Clean room. Didn't get time to try the breakfast but smelled lovely in the morning. Reasonable prices. Would stay again.

I'm sorry to have to leave a bad review but this place is NOT a 4* hotel, no where near. The only thing that stopped me giving it a 1 point review was the hosts as they were lovely. The room and the facilities however are very poor. The decor is dated, the bed is uncomfortable, the walls are paper thin, there are no in room catering facilities. I understand that it not the most expensive place so I wasn't expecting the Ritz, however for a 4* the least I expect is a comfy bed with a proper duvet (not a scratchy old blanket), a kettle and fridge IN the room and a bit of privacy (I could hear everything that was Sid in the hallways and outside) and a modern bathroom. |I cannot comment on the breakfast as I didn't have any, purely as the room didn't fill me with much hope that the food would be nice.|I've stayed in better and nicer 2* youth hostels than this. 4* as advertised on the website it is not.

For ÂŖ124 for two nights I'd expect better, they advertise satellite tv but it free view TVs in room. Rooms small very basic. Your basically in a residential area that's a bit run down. You can hear people talking down stairs and outside. Web site looks much better than it actually is. |Staff was friendly but I didn't stay long enough for anything else. I check straight out.
