Me and my partner stayed here for 1 night 29/3/25 what a lovely family run hotel . It is ideally situated on the beachfront but not right on the main strip. It only takes 10 min to walk and you are at the britannia pier. The hotel has parking which is a real bonus even though it is very narrow to drive down then opens up once you have navigated down the side of the hotel . We had a double room which had a partial seaview, it was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable . The shower was lovely and hot , only 1 little niggle you could smell what I think was drains, but the smell did eventually disappear . It certainly wouldn't stop me from staying again . The staff are extremely friendly and very attentive . The hotel has a restaurant and bar, the bar is lovely and cosy a very relaxed atmosphere . The restaurant is lovely again the food was amazing lovely and hot hats off to the chef . We had breakfast included in the price of the room which again was lovely and hot great selection 👌 . We couldn't fault anything . I think the hotel are doing an amazing job it is great value for money . I will certainly be returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of coming to great Yarmouth . Well done the furzedown hotel .

Easy 5!! Such a lovely room, person that checked us in was polite and approachable. Bed was super comfy and the sea view added to the benefits of Furzedown! Breakfast was great set us up for the day. Thank you!

Great stay! Will was wonderful and very welcoming, bed was super big and comfy and we'd been upgraded to a sea view room. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful, the location right on the sea front but in front of the water ways instead of the main funfair side was perfect. Thank you

We felt very looked after at this hotel.. the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was gorgeous and we had dinner twice also which was delicious. The room was spacious and clean and we loved our stay here.. We had a sea view and lovely view of the lake garden.

We have visited this Hotel for over 10 years. The Hotel is run by a friendly Family who provide us with great accomadation, a good Bar and Restaurant and accept our lively family dog. The sea view is fantastic and we always look forward to our visits.

We have stayed many times at the Furzedown in different rooms. Lovely sea view in this room. Huge bed very comfortable with plenty of pillows and spares available in the wardrobe. Lovely hot shower over the bath so 2 options to choose from. Seating area by the bay window. Tea/coffee available in the room. Breakfast was delicious again with plenty of options to choose from. Lovely hotel within walking distance to main shops and facilities

Having recently stayed at the Furzedown Hotel, I must say that I had a very enjoyable stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond especially a lady called Caroline. She was very polite and helpful. I will definitely be returning. Thank you ☺️

This is a well run family hotel with a fine restaurant to boot. We stayed for four nights and ate here on most evenings. Our compliments go to the chef who has a good eye for detail and is generous with the portions. It is difficult to know what to recommend because all the meals were exceptionally good. Some rooms offer fine views towards the sea and Venetian waterway across the road.
