Much satisfied with the stay in Gainsborough Lodge. Friendly and polite staff. As were travelling with our baby and a lot of luggage, they gave priority and allowed us to check in earlier. Great place to stop off if you’re planning to flights via Gatwick airport or visiting anywhere near Gatwick. Neat room and bathroom, provided all amenities that we needed. Fully satisfied. 100% recommendable.

Stayed here for one night before early morning flight from Gatwick, nice warm room, friendly staff, left car for 8 days. Taxi service very reliable, hotel and taxi all sensibly priced, breakfast available if required, shops and restaurants only a short walk away in Horley. Would definitely book to stay here again if needed

OK for a stay close to Gatwick Airport and within minutes walk to Horley Rail Station with connections to London and the airport. The hotel does not operate a 24h desk so late arrivals need to be arranged in advance

Terrible customer service. Very rude and unfriendly! Not welcoming or empathetic.

We were trying to find a place to stay quickly due to our flight cancellation.

Arrived after booking a taxi in a panic, treated poorly and was ignorant. Host could have been a lot more welcoming and understanding.

The room was okay but the service really let us down.

Unfortunately do not recommend.

Located about ten minutes from Gatwick. We booked the disabled room. We set up with extra large disables bathroom. Outside ramp for ease of entry but narrow halls make using wheelchair indoors a bit challenging. On-site restaurant with great Indian food at reasonable price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sitting area with small library and even a small bar. Highly recommend.
