What a gem!!!! this B & B is excellent, spotlessly clean and a lovely room. Lindsay & Susan were the perfect hosts a fantastic breakfast .We were touring and found them online booked for 3 night's and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, If you are in the area this is the place to book. It is my pleasure to write a review for this lovely, well run bed and breakfast.|Upon our arrival we were greeted by Lesley who showed us to a spotless, modern little room with a good sized on-suite. All very clean and tidy and a comfortable bed which gave two restful nights sleep. Breakfast provided a good range of options and I enjoyed the local eggs (cooked to perfection!) Lesley and Susan are excellent hosts and I would recommend the Garbhein to anyone.

Thank goodness we found this fabulous B and B online. From the outset, all our communications were easy, promptly dealt with and very efficient. The house is beautiful and decorated to a very high standard. The rooms are lovely and fabulously appointed. The en-suite bathrooms are equally special. The owners Lindsay and Sue are not only wonderful hosts, but go above and beyond what you would normally expect. Nothing is too much trouble.
The breakfast!!! Oh my goodness, yummy. If you visit and I recommend you do, please have one of their cooked breakfasts. Bacon, sausage, local eggs, black pudding, mushrooms, tomatoes and tattie scones ( scons not scowns!!!)
Their local knowledge is fantastic and Lindsay recommended trips for us to do, to fit for our needs and mobility issues.
Please don’t miss out on this B and B you won’t be disappointed

We really enjoyed staying in this bed and breakfast. Lindsay and Susan were wonderful hosts. They had a lot of good information for us as first-time visitors to the area.

We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our visit. Bedroom and en-suite were exceptionally clean and comfy and the breakfast very substantial! Susan and Lindsay were great hosts and we look forward to returning some day.||A great place to stay if exploring the West of Scotland and particularly for a nice boat trip to see the Corryvrekan and assorted wild life. Lindsay also operates Craignish Cruises from Ardfern which is not too far away.

We have just had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at Garbhein. The B&B is well placed to explore the beautiful mid Argyll coast, and Susan & Lindsay were excellent hosts with a wealth of local knowledge. Our room was comfortable and spotless, with everything we needed, and we enjoyed the very well cooked breakfasts. Sadly the weather was too windy to take advantage of one of Lindsay's boat trips, but that is yet another reason to return!

Penny pinching hosts!! No room service! But nice modern room and shower. Had to ask for hand towel as my husband and I like one each. No room service at all the three days we stayed! Free parking. Would not recommend hotel/pub opposite as landlord the most unwelcoming man ever. Food was alright but overpriced. Lovely area to explore, KIlmartin has a great pub and serving good food.

We stayed overnight as an alternative to staying in Oban - it was a wise choice. From the moment we were met by Lindsey we knew things were going to be very good. The room was beautiful - clean, spacious and with all the things you need. The food prepared at breakfast by Lindsey and Susan was individually prepared and was beautiful. The recommendation for where to have dinner was a very good one. This was an exceptional experience with regard to the attention to detail our hosts paid to making our visit a very good one indeed. I would recommend this place to anyone and will certainly use it again when we go up to try one of Lindsay's boat trips.
