We loved our stay at the Garden Farm B&B! We were visiting from the US for a wedding at Lower Damgate Farm. Debbie was an incredible host who gave us so much information about the area, including a restaurant recommendation that turned out to be one of our favorite meals of the trip!

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was incredible and Debbie accommodated our dietary needs without issue (vegetarian and nut allergy).

This was a highlight of our multiple day trip to Spain and the UK. Cannot recommend it enough!

US visitors - be advised that you'll need to bring cash with you to pay. It was an incredible value for the price.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the beautiful Garden Farm Cottage and B&B
which is set in Ilam.
Accomadation was faultless, very clean and quiet, our hosts Debbie & Richard were brilliant, nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was spot on with plenty of options.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
Hope to be back soon.

We booked for the weekend to do a couple of days of nearby hiking around Dovedale. We were delighted that it worked out, as we had to postpone our original weekend in November due to the local river overflowing in Ilam which made it impossible to reach the B&B. |Debbie looked after us very well, and very kindly gave us an extra room for our 15 year old to give us a little more space (we were booked in the triple room). The breakfast was freshly made to order and had nice options, including fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast as well as full English breakfast options and vegetarian with local eggs which was nicely cooked. |I found the mattress a little on the soft side for what I'm used to, but slept soundly nevertheless, probably because of the silence and darkness. We saw the most amazing sunrise from the room on our first morning and the view took my breathe away. I would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay, and would be happy to go back in the future for another cheeky weekend getaway in nature.

Stayed in the B and B for five nights celebrating a 100 year old birthday. Excellent breakfast and hosts very welcoming. Bedroom very comfortable. Would recommend this B and B to anyone who wants to come to this area. Hope to return, but in the summer months. Thanks again Debbie and Richard.

We stayed here for two nights as we were attending a wedding up the road. This b&b was recommended accommodation. We arrived late evening but were greeted with a warm welcome. Debbie was very informative and advised us of the local area. |We were welcomed to a hearty breakfast the following morning. Our room had an adjacent bathroom separated by a curtain in the corridor - it felt very private.||The room was well equipped and clean, cosy and fitting for the Derbyshire dales with great views. ||Coaches collected us from the end of the drive to the wedding too, so very well located! ||Definitely value for money!

was visiting friends in the area so spent a single night at Garden Farm. called in at lunchtime so I could avoid disturbing Debbie later and was offered to leave bags etc.|So, room was spotless with a lovely view, bathroom ajoining, again spotless. Small lounge/breafast room available to sit in should you wish. Breakfast was amazing. All in all a home from home, really friendly, clean, quiet place to stay. Couldn't want more!

Debbie and Richard were fantastic hosts! Friendly and informative. They were great with my dog Ruby, who can get very excited and energetic at times. Can't wait to stay again next year, beautiful setting with lots of hikes to explore. Varied choice of breakfast, with great coffee. The grounds are perfect for dogs, as we could use the enclosed field at any time. Had everything I needed after a day of walking, bath/shower, comfy bed, TV and stunning view from the window.

Beautiful cottage (spacious, well equipped, spotlessly clean) set in the most gorgeous location and perfect for walking break. Owners Richard and Debbie are just the most amazing hosts! Not only did we receive a warm and friendly welcome, but also when our dog cut his paw out on one of our walks, they were both so incredibly kind in helping us to contact a vet and apply immediate first aid to the wound. I cannot recommend Garden Cottage more highly – totally excellent. Thank You so much Debbie and Richard
