Just stayed in the Garden View apartment in Kegworth. I have stayed in this and other apartments in the same building several times. They are comfortable, clean and well appointed, just what was needed for visiting family and a little work. Thanks again for another great stay.

We have just stayed at the Wood Loft in Kegworth for a couple of nights. We would recommend this property very highly. The apartment is finished to a very high standard, very comfortable and everything you will need.
The communication from the hosts is excellent, the digital guide is comprehensive and very handy.
We will definitely be staying again!

Our recent stay at The Wood Loft in Kegworth was a pleasant experience. The apartment was accurately represented in the photos, offering a comfortable and functional space. The beds were comfortable, and the shower, though encountering a slight blockage on the first morning, was promptly addressed by the very responsive support team.

The unique setting of the apartment, away from the street and surrounded by renovated buildings and greenery, provided a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Despite its proximity to the motorway and East Midlands Airport, noise was minimal and not disruptive.

Free parking on the street and easy access to village shops, including a grocery store, pharmacy, coffee shop, pub, restaurant, and bakery, added convenience to our stay. Kegworth's central location proved to be well-connected to Loughborough, Nottingham, and Derby, making it a practical choice for our weekend getaway.

We had a pleasant stay, with the property offering privacy and hassle-free check-in/check-out. The nearby pubs and a well-stocked Co-Op Grocery store within a short walk added to the convenience of our stay. In summary, The Wood Loft provided a comfortable and practical base for our weekend, and we would consider returning for future visits.

A clean and comfortable stay in a well appointed apartment. It is very close to East Midlands Airport and so planes flying low overhead was to be expected but there weren't too many. All the kitchen resources needed were available. I was able to take advantage of the complimentary use of Reeds Spa where the gym had all the equipment that I am used to and the medium size pool was perfect for recovering from the work out. All in all a lovely stay.

Fabulous! Coming in off the street to your own front door swathed in greenery, it's a little oasis of calm in characterful renovated buildings. The interior is very tastefully done with quality fittings and the photos are an accurate representation. Beds are super comfortable too, and the shower was excellent. We had a lovely welcome from the owners who live nearby which was handy should we have needed anything, but we didn't because everything had been thought of. Parking was on the street, and no problem as the roads were quiet. The village itself has all basic conveniences and also a lovely bakery shop only a couple of minutes stroll away - great for breakfast takeaways. Although this is very handily situated close to the motorway, you wouldn't know. We could hear no traffic noise and it was a relaxing haven. All in all, we'd return without hesitation, and would highly recommend. Thanks again Caroline and Mark!

I rented the Wood Loft. It was conveniently located, clean and well presented. Gateway Apartments were always willing to assist with queries. I would have prefered to be able to speak to a person, instead of WhatsApp messages and email, but they were responsive to the messages. I would assuredly use them again

I first sent this review to the owners as I thought they would respond privately but unfortunately not. When we arrived, the key holder lock came away from the wall, we pushed it back in but the most upsetting "welcome" was the amount of dead and alive spiders in the flat. They were everywhere, in every corner, well over 50 I counted! Even if this is a garden flat where you can expect some insects, someone should have vacuumed it thoroughly before our arrival. When I moved the sofa away from the wall to sweep out more, I was horrified at the dirt there. The coffee table was broken, the oven filthy, the smell of mold and damp was persistant. The garden overgrown.
The bathroom is just a disaster, the shower leaks badly, no where to put even a bar of soap in the shower and the temperature of the water varied wildly. All we had to use were 2 mismatched chipped mugs, no coffee maker. I could go on but you get the picture.
