This hotel is bare bones. |There are pros and cons. This place is basic and sometimes that's what you need. |If however you can get a premier inn for £10 more then that's worth it. ||We got a twin room with SHARED BATHROOM  for £49 |The first night parking is included thereafter it's £9 a night |There are flaws here definitely, curtain rail broken, smudges on the wall, room is musty. No fans for really hot rooms, Having to share a bathroom and the tv remote not working aswell as only having one plug but it is an old building so understandable |The beds are comfortable and the bedding clean. Towels clean and so was the bathroom.|You have a fridge in your room and your window does open so there is fresh air. Tv works. |Rooms are pretty well sound proof.|There is breakfast  very basic one but hey we wernt expecting anything. They had cornflakes but no milk toaster but no bread. |Overall it did the job

We stayed here after returning from Gatwick. Room was so noisy! Toilet flushing could of woke the dead. Room wasn't clean either! I refused to use the shower as it was mouldy. Bathroom door was awful and made so much noise. Bed was comfy but just a cheap hotel. Also no lift and we was right at the top. Also my key was just left out with a note! Transport luckily close by as is a sainsburys local over the road.

Absolutely appalling! I checked in at midnight. On arrival the hotel front door was wide open, opposite the front desk with no one manning it. My room key (for the room right next to the front door) and a document with all of my personal details was left next to it. This is not only exposing my details to the random public but also my room key… anyone could be in my room… both these things are serious safety threats.
Once I entered my room… I was SHOCKED at the disgusting state of it. Absolutely disgusting, covered in dust, dead bugs everywhere, stains on the sheets, cobwebs on the ceiling (the list goes on but I have attached pictures for proof), and to top it off there was no towel provided… I dread to think what hidden germs and bacteria were hiding in that room.
It was an atrocious experience, I didn’t sleep a wink as I was conscious that someone could walk through the front door of the hotel and my room was next door, and also because of how disgusting the room was.
I tried to contact the property, but I kept getting ignored or told ‘property non-refundable’. Of course I deserve a full refund but I didn’t even get an apology. DO NOT BOOK!

Rooms very basic and shared bathroom was clean if a bit tired looking. Beds very comfortable, no traffic noise. Ideal for early flights to Gatwick. Carpark, but an extra £10 but overall good value for money and would use again.

This hotels is located at about 9 miles from Gatwick, I was there for a 1 night layover.
The hotel is very dated, comfy bed clean linen, wall 2 wall carpet. The room was ok, but it didn't look like the pictures on the booking site

I had to share an old and used bathroom including toilet sink and shower. with 4 other rooms. Everything worked, but it wasn't in good condition

A lowcost hotel for those travelling by plane from Gatwick airport. Not a holiday place. The rooms are modest. The beds are somewhat uncomfy. The advantage is that it is clean and the rooms can accommodate 3-4 adults.

Do NOT stay here: Dirty bathroom, WiFi slow, very noisy road, beds clean, very poor customer service, continental breakfast was cheap cereal and powdered “juice”.

Location was fine for the Gatwick Airport. It was a 20 min public bus away but I would not considerate it a ‘great’ location.

The main issue with this hotel is they don’t properly clean the rooms and only do the bare minimum.

It's okay. My room was incredibly basic and not particularly clean... well, it wasn't dirty as such, but I felt it could be cleaner. Decor VERY dated. Bed was comfortable although it was 2 singles put together and not a double they gave me, even though it was a double I booked. Also the lock on my door had recently been changed and the key they had didn't work!? So I had to leave my room unlocked when I went out for dinner.
Two big positive points though - it's incredibly handy for Gatwick Airport (there is a bus stop around 100 yards along the road and the bus takes you to Gatwick in around 20-25 minutes); it's also about 5 minutes walk from a lovely old pub which serves a great menu at good prices.
Also the guy on reception was nice, friendly and helpful. I don't think I'd stay again though, all told. It was fine, but I'm sure there are other options, equally handy for the airport with nicer rooms and not that much more expensive.
