Very handy for the Airport if you have an early flight.
Good sized room, en-suite shower/toilet, free parking outside.
The only point I would have is that a hairdryer would have been useful.
Two pubs nearby offering a good choice of evening meals.
We will certainly use this B&B again.

Lovely place close to Gatwick airport with friendly and helpful host. We took the bus and walked to the guesthouse from the airport, then walked 5 min to Pastors Pig for dinner (great). We enjoyed a very nice breakfast in the guesthouse garden before our flight. Much better staying than at a big, impersonal hotel!

Excellent in all respects. Beautifully clean, comfy king size bed with memory foam mattress & en-suite shower room. Lovely breakfast, with lots of choices, delivered by trolley to your room piping hot. Very friendly owner who bent over backwards to be helpful. Close to Gatwick but quiet. Thoroughly recommended. Would definitely stay again.

I have no clue how this place has good reviews. Immediately on arriving the lights outside were all flickering/broken. Even in the hallways the lights were flickering. The first room stank of damp and sewage, and the second had a broken lightbulb, damage everywhere disgusting decor, and a very loose wobbly bed. See the picture I added- felt like a horror movie.

We decided to have a 5 night break away - not far from home - during the recent heatwave. ||||We chose Tanglewood Guest House - and we are very pleased that we did. ||||The property offers car parking spaces and a lovely garden.||||Our room (a double on the ground floor at the front of the property) was excellent value for money, clean, spacious - complete with a small fridge and dining table & chairs - and comfortable. (The twin room was at the rear on the ground floor). ||||There was a wide range of choices for breakfast - which we ordered the evening before. They were brought to us via a trolley at our chosen times. The food was very good quality, hot and delicious.||||We dined at the nearby Parson's Pig two evenings - and the other evenings we bought our own food and ate it in our room.||||This property is ideal if you are flying out of/into Gatwick.

Friendly owner, gave us info for local garage shop etc. Very comfy bed and nice room. 5 minutes from APH parking to drop the car off before flying out of Gatwick.

My partner book me a surprise holiday to New York for Xmas. Due to flying from Gatwick and us living in Liverpool, she decided to book us this little B&B. ||She requested early check in but due to heavy traffic on the motorway we was running drastically late so arrive just after 8pm. We kept in touch with the lovely owners throughout the day to let them know we was running late. They couldn’t have been more understanding!||||We went to reception and checked in and payed promptly and the lovely landlady showed us to our room and explained the WiFi, tea/coffee and so on. Fresh towels, fresh crisp bedding and a lovely warm room. We was absolutely exhausted so she left us to it and we got into bed and ordered a takeaway from the many menus in our booklet. ||||We will definitely recommend this B&B.
