Amazing. Popped in for a bite to eat. Was a little disappointed that the menu didn't match what was online. (All very fishy and I don't do fish) But they had lobster for the other half. Soon as I told the manager I don't do fish. He came back and offered an amazing cut of steak for me.
Great service. Lovely location and superb food.
Waitress recommendation of wine to match the lobster was spot on too. Swmbo was very impressed as well.

My mother and i regularly visit The George and Dragon for Sunday lunch and we always have a wonderful time. The food is always delicious and the service superb. In fact, a couple of weeks ago, the restaurant manager noticed my mother was chilly and brought her a little hot water bottle for her lap. My mother was beyond grateful. What a delightful thought. This place is charming and wonderful, and we will continue to visit regularly.

Chippy and the team helped us to give our late mum a wonderful send-off today. From the moment I first contacted to discuss our needs, we were treated with enormous respect and compassion. Nothing was too much trouble, even last-minute requirements were easily accommodated. Fabulous food, great service and attention. Special thanks to Sydnie, Amy, Kate and everyone in the kitchen and bar. This was one of Mum’s favourite pubs, she would have been delighted to see all her family and friends from far and wide gathered together. Thank you so much for everything.

Sidney was deliciously friendly - impeccable service. The food was SPECTACULAR. The atmosphere is simply amazing- nothing like I’d expect and worth another visit this weekend.

We had a drink in the tiny comfy bar then moved to the the attractive restaurant to order our meal. as it was Friday night there was a special menu including Fish & chips, Burger & chips or something else for £12.50 including first drink.|Excellent fine dining with homemade tartare sauce, rocket salad with our fish supper.|I had a posset for dessert which was fabulous and rich while my husband had a coffee.|Altogether brilliant then Chippie took us home as it was freezing outside & I use a rollator. Top service!!!!

Cute little country pub with friendly staff and delicious food 😋
I've eaten here a few times and would highly recommend if you're in Devizes.
Fresh seasonal menu with great fish & seafood options. Very cosy environment with a real fire in one of the rooms.

Popped in for a quick pint after a walk along the canal. The welcome was lovely. Sat us next to the fire and even offered to drop us back to our motorhome. That's what you call service.
