Had Sunday lunch Carvery 3/11/24 four of us one being gluten and dairy intolerant. We all had the most amazing lunch. Never had such tender beef and such tasty turkey. All the food was fresh and hot. The staff were amazing, all family and nothing too much trouble. Great atmosphere great food wish you were nearer to where we live but it was a fabulous holiday find ❤️

Wonderful time at the George & Dragon. Amazing food ! Very attentive staff, accommodation ideal . Very informative chat with the owners and chef. Would definitely recommend to anyone to visit.
My husband is a coeliac and I have a gluten and dairy intolerance. It was well worth the 2.5hr journey!. Will definitely be visiting again.

I'm a coeliac and when I saw The George and Dragon... I just knew I had to visit. As its is 2 and a half hours away for us, I booked a room to stay over night. From the moment we arrived and were shown to our gorgeous room, the service was outstanding. This is the only 100% gluten and dairy free restaurant in Wales and it was so refreshing as a coeliac to have a large menu to order from and to know whatever I ordered, I would be completely safe to eat. Malcom the chef was absolutely incredible, all the food was completely delicious. My husband is not a coeliac, and he thought all the food was out of this world too!! We spoke to many other guests while we were there, who also were blown away by all their food too.|Honestly can't recommend this place enough... If your coeliac or not..your sure to be blown away by the outstanding food and the friendly service. We can't wait to return very soon.. And stay longer, to try the carvery.

Have just returned home from a short break at The George and Dragon which proved to be an excellent choice. As a Coeliac for many years, it is the first time I have stayed anywhere and felt 100% confident that all the food was safe for me to eat. It was so relaxing to dine without having to ask questions about the ingredients of dishes and how they are prepared. The chef, Malc is very clearly very knowledgeable about allergens and passionate about providing quality gluten free and dairy free food which tastes good and is plentiful. In addition, the accommodation was very comfortable and all staff were friendly and welcoming, which provided a most pleasant stay and I am looking forward to a return visit to this ‘Coeliac heaven’.

stopped in whilst walking the offas dyke path. despite me looking very unkempt from the trail i received a warm welcome and made to feel at ease. loved the care and attention taken by the landlord to ensure that all guests were having the best time. thanks george and dragon inn!

We came here specifically because we saw that they were a fully gluten free restaurant. The menu was amazing, absolutely filled with choices. I had the duck, which was really tasty and I had the chocolate torte for dessert. It was really moist and tasted brilliant. We really enjoyed our meal, were impressed by the service and will most likely make a trip back there in the future.

Absolutely fantastic stay!
This dairy and gluten free restaurant was an amazing experience throughout.
The food was exceptional, we travelled nearly 3 hours to visit a full gluten free restaurant and we definitely wasn't disappointed!
The staff were friendly, very chatty and made us very welcome.

We even had the opportunity to speak with the the chef Malcome, he is clearly very passionate about his work, and the importance of dietary requirements

I couldn't recommend this place more
It was phenomenal
