We stayed at this place for one night, from May 4th to 5th, as a family with a 13-year-old teenager.
We arrived quite late, at 8:30 PM, as indicated in our booking. It was difficult to find the entrance — we walked around the building several times, but all the doors were closed. We had to call out to some staff members we noticed through an open window of a utility room. Eventually, one of them came out and guided us to our room, which was located in a neighboring building.
The room was modest but comfortable and clean: I ran my fingers over the windowsill and the top shelf of the wardrobe — not a speck of dust. It had everything we needed, including a wardrobe, TV, hairdryer, fridge, microwave, and electric kettle. One cup wasn’t properly washed — there were juice stains at the bottom.I really liked the real wooden beds. The mattresses were very comfortable, and I slept wonderfully.
The bathroom was very nice. The tiles were well laid (my husband appreciated it from a professional perspective). The toilet seat was worn and scratched. Big plus for the presence of a bidet and the soft, fluffy towels. I also really liked the mandarin scent of the shampoo.
I definitely recommend this place. Close to Heathrow Airport, affordable price, and cleanliness make this lodge well worth your attention.

😊: Everything!!! No carpet in hallway, just concrete floor and smelt musky and old!!! There was only myself and daughter staying and we didn’t feel safe so stayed in nearby hotel as there was a guy living upstairs and somebody else!!! Back yard had an ironing board in the middle of rubble!!!.

Did stop here for an overnight stay prior to our morning flight. Got luckily sent to The Regent hotel, theirs too. The room looked great, bathroom very nice. Sadly not very heated overnight, hence cold. Also soundproofing is weak and you hear all. Overall alright and can stay there.

The hotel looks like a ghost house. Literally noone inside. Very dark.
I was first confused whether this was the hotel because it was locked. I had to contact their neighbours about the whereabouts and the owners appeared from somewhere. The neighbours however had a negative review about it. The location looked remote. But the rooms were fine for 1 day stay.

Great place. Very easy to get to from the airport. The staff were very helpful and the room was spotless. Plenty of car parking spaces.

…the words from Gibtel Lodge’s manager when I rang him to ask for my money back. ||||When my fiancé and I arrived at the Lodge, we knew we hadn’t paid for a fancy hotel. However, we did expect some service and to feel safe there.||||We arrived at 21:30. The Lodge looked deserted. All the lights were off. Walking round it to find a door, I felt quite worried about whether we were both safe. After ringing multiple times, we were let into a room.||||The room had signs that there were bed bugs present. Marks on the sheets, pillows, and duvet. I don’t really like to complain, but my fiancé was really worried about sleeping there. We finally decided we couldn’t risk it, and tried to speak to the staff member. He had disappeared.||||We rang the manager, and stated the problem. The manager’s response was to tell us to go elsewhere. He wouldn’t agree to offer any money in compensation, or help with the issue. When I suggested this was unfair, he said “vacate the property or I will call security”. He went on to say, “go to a Travelodge or a Premier Inn, as you sound like a low class person”. ||||We had to find somewhere else to stay, at 22:30 at night. I was honestly quite scared.||||I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what we did. I wouldn’t recommend staying there at all.

We traveled May 2019, didn't have time to review until now. It's not a bad place, very cheap and we booked 4 rooms with 14 people total. We were met with a lovely lady who showed us the room, only after taking 10 minutes looking for her. That is not our issue, the issue is the cleaner. We asked for an extra pillow for our daughter and the lady who showed us the room took us to the cleaner to ask him for an extra pillow. He cursed out the lady in Polish. Since my wife is Polish, she understood what he said and didn't think he was very professional. The lady didn't understand him, smiled at us and ushered us back to the office. We never received the pillow and we would never book this place again. I would urge the owners to review their employees because the cleaner that we met when we were there was not professional at all.
