My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at Glebe Farm Bed and Breakfast. Tim and Sheila were very generous with their time and advice, and the breakfast offering was fabulous. The property itself is beautiful and in a brilliant location. It is very peaceful and the bedroom & bathroom facilities were exceptional. The views from the windows in the bedroom were magical. We felt very welcome and at home during our stay. Will definitely be back to visit so we can explore the bits we missed this time!

Tim and Shelia were wonderful hosts. We stayed for a few nights in The Shippen, there self catering cottage. There was four of us, 2 adults and 2 kids and it was perfect mini break. The grounds of the house were lovely with chickens roaming and the house was just up from the tidal creek. The area was lovely and rural and quiet but still had a fantastic pub in the village and not to far drive from some shops. Vest if all were some of the fantastic beaches that were still quiet even in half term. I would definitely go back for another stay.

We have just got home from an impromptu stay at Glebe farm, our visit was almost accidental but I have to say that I am so glad that we came across it. The owners are nothing but welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, they are so friendly and just want to make sure that you have the best trip possible, whether that’s recommending places to visit or keeping you topped up with tea, coffee or whatever you need. The main house itself is outstandingly quaint and with a 5 star cleanliness that you don’t always find, everything is just perfect. But to add to it all the details like home made bread, jams and home laid eggs (by the chickens not Tim and Sheila) you are spoilt with a personal touch that really sets this venue above the rest.
We stayed in the main house but the cottage and the shepherds hut are both just as beautiful and you can surround yourself with the stunning countryside and lovely company.
We have come away feeling like we have met new friends and will definitely be returning….often

We stayed at Glebe Farm the night before our wedding and the night after with some of our wedding party. We were very well looked after – the beds were comfy, the rooms clean, the breakfasts spot on – but most of all, our hosts were so kind and helpful as we prepared for our big day. 100% recommend.

We booked Glebe Farm last minute, it couldn't have been a better surprise. Tim and Sheila are excellent hosts, we had nice conversations during breakfast whilst our boys played with puzzles Tim have them. The house is beautiful and picking up fresh eggs was the icing on the cake.

We stayed for 5 nights in the self catering cottage, located within the beautiful grounds of Glebe Farm. It was so wonderfully well equipped, much more so than previous SC holiday lets we have experienced. Lots of attention to detail including lovely touches such as homemade jam, hot cross buns, an Easter egg and a bottle of Prosecco upon arrival (much needed after a 7 hour drive with two young children!) Breakfasts were fabulous, and Tom and Sheila made such an effort to make sure us and the children were happy. We had a choice of taking breakfast in the cottage, or in the main house - a beautiful restored farmhouse, just like the pictures here. Two friendly labradors which just added to the home from home feel that Tim and Sheila provided. They make you feel like old friends. We loved it and will definitely be back (possibly without our children next time🤣) Thank you!

I have travelled a lot and never felt so motivated to write a review, but the Shepherds Hut is just beautiful and your hosts, Tim and Sheila are wonderful. ||We didn't arrive until well into the evening (the M5, ugh!) but despite the late hour, Tim came out to the second we arrived and greeted us like old friends. ||We were walked up to the hut where Tim showed us the amenities and provisions laid out for us (including Sheila's homemade raspberry jam - you could travel here just for the jam!) and walked us through the home comforts on offer including underfloor heating, a wood burning stove (with briquettes provided), a barbecue (with charcoal provided), fire pit, two sets of table and chairs (one set for eating at, one set for drinking at), combi oven, induction stove and fridge (with ice compartment). There was even some milk in the fridge for us. ||The shower room is compact (but I'm a big fella and there was plenty of room for me), with a heated towel rail. The bed is amazingly comfortable, although if you are shorter in stature, you may need a leg up to get in. But it's well worth it once you've made the ascent. ||The village itself is beautiful with a fantastic, dog friendly, pub serving delicious food and you're about 15minutes drive from Kingsbridge, arguably one of the nicest towns in South Devon. ||The hut is even better in real life than the photos depict, you can't photograph peace and serenity. Sitting out in the evening and being able to hear nothing but sheep and the small brook behind the hut is just amazing. We are delighted to have been the inaugural guests and we will be back.

Glebe Farm set on the edge of the wonderful South Hams village of South Pool is a lovely relaxing place to stay. A traditional farmhouse that has been tastefully renovated throughout, Tim and Sheila welcome you into their home with consummate ease and show you to a modern yet quaint well proportioned bedroom with good bathroom including a rain shower. After a good night's sleep on the very comfortable beds (we had the twin room) you are invited to eat a leisurely breakfast of fresh fruit salad, locally produced ingredients for a full English (alternatives are available) followed by homemade bread/toast and homemade jams, washed down with plentiful amounts of coffee and tea. Glebe Farm is a wonderful place to stay with easy access to walks in the South Hams, and a 3 minute stroll to the wonderful local pub Millbrook Inn for an evening meal. Perfect.
