My wife and stayed here on our 3rd day of hiking West Highland Way (Rowardennan to Crianlarich) which was our longest and toughest day. |We arrived around 6:30 and the AMAZING hosts had our bags in our room and got us settled right away. They gave us recommendations for some good food in town. |The room is beyond comfortable and more importantly quiet. We were exhausted so all we wanted was a great shower , some take away and to rest our feet and watch TV and veg. It was so quiet here , we slept amazing. The room has all you could need. |In the morning , we had a fantastic breakfast. They have all the traditional Scottish fair, but we opted to get the Salmon and Scrambled egg bagel and it was better than breakfasts I have had at the Ritz. |The hosts home is lovely and their hospitality is on point. |Would love to stay here again.

the most wonderful time at Rod and Andrea's!! we were supposed to stay elsewhere which ended up being overbooked so here we ended up. and how lucky were we! Rod and Andrea have moved up north and created this cosy haven in the heart of the west highland way. the home is absolutely charming, the breakfast was accompanied with smiles and tips from Rod, and an OG documentary on the WHW. we hope to be back to walk these dogs, or rather be walked by them!! Thank you for a lovely stay, 🌈

We were hiking the West Highland Way and stayed for one night. It was a very warm welcome of the hosts which were caring a lot about us feeling comfortable. The rooms were lovely and clean. The style fits how you imagine a guest house in Scotland and we felt at home. The breakfast was made freshly for us and was very tasty. We would always come back.

On my mini tour of the Highlands, I decided to explore the Trossachs a bit rather than drive straight through... What a good decision, not just because of the brilliant roads and stunning scenery, but also because it meant that Crianlarich was an ideal location to stop and then fate found me a reservation with Rod & Andrea.|As the title suggests, it's the people factor that makes the difference. I could witter on about the comfortable, well-appointed room, the ample off-road parking, the useful local pointers regarding my evening meal choices and the stunning breakfast...but I won't...πŸ˜‰πŸ‘Œ Thanks both for a lovely stay πŸ‘

We stayed here in June as part of our walk through the West Highland Way and the B&B and the hosts Andrea and Rod could not been nicer and more welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and the home cozy. It is basically within the small town so you can walk to anywhere.

My partner, myself, and our friend booked 2 rooms at Rod and Andrea's lovely B&B recently. We only stayed for one night, as "the boys" had an early start for the Devil o' the Highlands ultra marathon, which meant that we had to be in Tyndrum for 5.30am the next morning.||On arrival, we were given an incredibly warm welcome by Rod as he showed us to our rooms, and he also helped get us oriented. We knew we'd be arriving in the evening in advance of our stay, so Rod and Andrea had already recommended a few places to eat and drink in the immediate area before our arrival (their recommendations were excellent).||Our beds were incredibly comfy, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were absolutely spotless; we were most impressed! The room facilities (tea/coffee/hot chocolate, Wi-Fi, the soft and comfy bed linen, etc.) were all most welcome after our drive up from Edinburgh.||Although our 5am departure meant we weren't able to take advantage of the included breakfast, we look forward to returning again when we don't have such an early start on the cards.||Thank you again Rod and Andrea, and an extra thanks for kindly putting my (accidentally forgotten) walking stick aside for me to collect after the boys had finished the race. We wish you both well, and we hope to see you again in future.
