5 Stars – A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service

We recently stayed at Glencote Caravan Park in Leek and were absolutely blown away by the experience. The site itself is beautifully maintained—peaceful, picturesque, and spotlessly clean. Every detail, from the immaculate pitches to the thoughtful landscaping, reflects real pride in the park.

What truly made our stay outstanding, though, was Louis, the manager. His dedication to ensuring guests feel welcome and looked after is second to none. Friendly, approachable, and always willing to help, Louis went above and beyond to make our stay special. Whether it was offering local recommendations or helping us settle in, he was a constant, reassuring presence around the park.

Glencote is lucky to have such a passionate and hands-on manager. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be recommending it to everyone we know!

Been on this site for a few years, lovely location, near canal for some great runs. Pubs nearby, and the scenery is amazing. |The site manager Trevor is so helpful, nothing too much trouble, he is a real star!!|The dealings with Lewis on the purchase of my lodge and the sorting out of decking and all the things that make it feel like home were great, thank you, all my neighbours were friendly and again nothing too much trouble to help you feel part of the community - a real family feeling on the site!

A fantastic family run Holiday Park in the beautiful Staffordshire country side in Chedleton. Beautiful Lodges and and caravans to rent and for sale. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Close to amenities both in Chedleton and the lovely town of Leek. There is also a delightful pub within walking distance serving food situated right on the canal side. It is also a joy to see the Churnet Valley steam train going past most days, the station also within walking distance. A wonderful place to go for a short break or a longer holiday or to buy a holiday home. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Really nice site. Lovely people. Clean toilets & showers. But extremely disappointed about being told by the owner, that our £17000. caravan wouldn't lose any value if we wanted to try it on the site for a year. Do to unforeseen circumstances we had to sell it in a hurry, so didn't have time to advertise it. And because the following years rent was due we had to let the owner of the site buy it off us. For a disgusting £12000. I hate people who lie. We wish we had never heard of his site, let alone being ripped off so badly.

we stayed for the first time and had a excellent time. arrival was second to none with full assistant to park up and unhitch. all hard standing pitches with a personal touch to move flag stones if putting up an awning. very clean loo block and warm too. we even had a pack of local walks delivered to our van most had a pub on route. we will definitely return. site wardens were very customer focused nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed here so as to be near Stoke on Trent for a friends wedding, not a too bad to navigate to, road running up to the site was a bit tight at times but all good.||We arrived Friday and was told to choose our pitch, what ever was free, nice walk through site to the steam train and canal.||Toilet blocks need updating, showers are push button and last about 3 seconds (a little annoying),and one in gents dripped all the time, the pot wash area needs the same TLC, as the site is mainly static then I feel they have neglected the tourers.||All of the pitches are paved and level which is a bonus, also the local Chinese delivers to site, the staff on site were very friendly and helpful, as we were going to a wedding I wanted my nails done, I asked the men in reception and one told me exactly where to go and where to park !!! for a man very impressed.||Lovely area to explore.Lovely farm shop in area (meat as far as eye can see), very well priced.
