We have just returned from an exceptional two nights stay at Glenfriars. This is definitely the best b&b I've ever stayed in. Room was incredible, lovely views, comfy bed, amazing bath. All the little extras were lovely, complimentary wine, water, tea, coffee. They honestly had thought of everything. We brought a bottle of prosecco with us and returned to find that it had been placed in an ice bucket and supplied two glasses. The hostess was warm and friendly and served us delicious breakfast. Our room was beautifully cleaned, they even replaced the candles! We will definitely we recommending this place to everyone!

We received a warm welcome from our host. Glenfriars is a handsome and tastefully decorated house. Our room was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. Jedburgh is a nice town for a weekend break or for a few nights as part of a touring holiday. We would certainly stay again. |Covid safe!

We travelled in Scotland for nearly 3 weeks with our friends from California. We had one night at Glenfriars but I could happily have stayed for all 3 weeks. This is an incredible property that the owners are in the process of "doing up" in a most wonderful way. The standards were equal to any 5 star hotel I have stayed in and the bathrooms were of 6 star standards, utterly sumptuous. In the morning we had the added treat of seeing deer at the top of the back lawn. Anne was a most wonderful hostess and her lovely breakfast served in her dining room furnished with antiques was perfect. My husband and I will be in Scotland again next year and I hope very much that we can revisit Glenfriars. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I have just had an amazing overnight stay at Glenfriars. The rooms are outstanding. We had the green room which was like a hotel suite, absolutely stunning. Our host Ann is brilliant, super friendly and happy to help with anything you need. Breakfast was first class. We will 100% stay here again and will be recommending to everyone.

We had a lovely night in the Blue room in this wonderful Old House. It has been beautifully restored. Our room was a large room with everything you needed and done to a high standard. The breakfast was also of a very high quality cooked to your own requirements. We hope to stay again. The best place we stayed at on our small road trip.

We definitely fell on our feet when we found this B&B. The most luxurious B&B ever! Fabulous room with a tv that was integrated into the bed so as not to spoil the view. The bathroom was out of this world, with a claw-footed bath, huge shower and twin sinks. Excellent room, excellent breakfast, excellent value.

Stayed one night on a quick visit to Jedburgh. The welcome at the door, the service throughout, and the extremely comfortable accommodation was second to none. The bed and bedding were so comfy, and the traditional Scottish breakfast was delicious, setting us up for the journey home. Especially delicious were the fresh strawberries and raspberries, as well as the local black pudding, haggis and sausage.

Outstanding in every way… with an amazing host! We were walking St Cuthberts way so only stayed one night but it was so comfortable with little extras that made a difference. Breakfast was faultless with such attention to detail.. thank you
