I stayed in room 1 for a single night. Furniture and finishings were beautiful carved wood and rich upholstery. Windows were double glazed and the room was warm. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. The view from my room was of mountains and trees, very picturesque.I would not hesitate to stay again and I didn't mind at all that there was no bar or restaurant open during my stay. Highly recommend for a quiet lovely stay.

Bright large room ( double room for one person ) beautifully decorated with carved furniture and thick red soft furnishings. Plenty of storing space and draws. Tea and coffee and kettle. Window with view of the mountains. Very quiet location off the main road, but within easy access of it and bus / coach stop just outside on the corner of Dalmally's little side road.|Traditional Scottish public hallway, staircase and lounge with tartan carpets. I hiked up the central heating on 2 ( of the 7 ) colder days and nights ( was available other times ). two fridges in the lounge to store your own food, a microwave oven and disposable cutlery if you want.|Owners friendly and very helpful for information, practical and for excursions. Offered to launder my clothes when I got stuck in a wet bog on an excursion, helped with my suitcase up the stairs on arrival and down them up to the coach stop on departure.|Good value for a week's stay.

My friend and I booked for two nights at the Glenorchy Lodge, and as I am scent sensitive, I emailed Nik in advance to see whether the room would suit. He was understanding and responsive. So we booked. Upon arrival, we met Nik and his mother, and they were very kind and helpful. The room itself was lovely and super clean! It also was very fresh (not perfumy, just fresh). Although the sheets did have the same laundry product used by pretty much every hotel I've stayed at in the UK (which has a kind of fruity fragrance), but the pillow was the most unscented I have encountered! It was super. I slept well. The area is quiet and lovely. They have a dog, and while I have I mild allergy to dogs, I was not bothered at all. Most places in Scotland seem to be dog friendly and/or have dogs on premises, which makes it all feel very cosy and family like. I found the shower to be eco friendly but have enough pressure for my long thick hair, and it was in a full tub with a lovely set-up. The location of the hotel is excellent for hiking Munros, and also they had the coolest lights set up for the entry way when we returned after dark.

We had a wonderful experience staying here! The house was beautiful, the hosts were so friendly and helpful. Any small need or request was immediately attended to thoroughly. Breakfast was WONDERFUL! All the food we had was delicious and it was so convenient to have it there in the morning. ||After looking at the other reviews from recently (a week or so ago) I’m super confused as to if they stayed the same place…. This place was clean, up kept, beautiful on the inside and out. It was exactly as advertised! The room was big and had a sitting area as well as the bed and bathroom. The lounge area and breakfast area was clean and organized as well. Nothing was run down, broken, deserted. We would stay here again 10/10!

Our annual trip to Dalmally to stay at the Glenorchy Lodge Hotel was as usual an amazing experience. |Amazing hosts, kind, genuinely lovely people. Beautiful room and the breakfast is absolutely incredible!!!||We have never had anything but an amazing experience staying at the Glenorchy and always look forward to returning to stay again!!!||Please stay and leave the reviews that these lovely hosts deserve. Amazing mother and son run business. ||You will not be disappointed and will love staying here. The pictures don't even do this justice, so beautiful ❤️

Came across this lovely b and b after the bad weather left us stranded nearby. I have never before seen a b and b jump into action the way these two owners did. After hearing of our troubles they got us all a hot drink and a seat and said we could use their drying facilities if needed. Not being the only folk stranded the b and b took in the people they could and set everyone up as comfortably as they could facilitate in the circumstances! Even though they were a small a b and b with a large booking that day they got everyone a place to sleep. They also offered breakfast at 2 courses for 13 pounds the quality of food was honestly astounding. Two people taking on that amount of work and the heart that was in it really restored our faith that there is good people out there. Came across by chance but honestly a real gem and we will be going back! Unlike other places jacking their prices right up when they realised the situation people were left in which is honestly shocking given the circumstances. Nice genuine honest people with good hearts.
