Nice room however could hear every bit of movement above and next room speaking.
The shower was just dripping out guessing low water pressure reported to reception.

Breakfast was a decent setup however the food wasn't very warm. Just the couple points to make other than that was a decent hotel and stay for the money paid happy with it but could improve.

Lovely swimming pool which was clean and warm. Good food at breakfast and dinner. Clean environment comfortably carpeted. Helpful staff always courteous and respectful. Our two night stay was good value for money. Plenty of car parking space but need to book stay direct to avoid car park charge.

Room was clean and what we needed ie a bed to sleep in and Tv. Shower hung limp on the wall and reported twice-not sorted. Breakfast was good! Don’t be fooled by the photos of the spa, ambient lighting never seen. Looked more like a glorified leisure centre full of local memberships leaving little room for anyone else.

The staff are the best part about this hotel. They’re friendly , attentive and professional. However, we weren’t impressed with much else. We booked a double room, and had two single beds pushed together, so the beds just came apart. The shower pressure was awful and the walls are thin so you can hear everything. Unfortunately our stay was made worse by other loud guests having a group gathering in a single room. Once we did manage to sleep we were woken up at 1am to a thump on our door and a person screaming, followed by loud conversations. Although this is not the hotels fault, it made me feel uneasy and I do feel the situation could have been deescalated earlier on in the evening.
The spa pool and jacuzzi were cold! Not an enjoyable experience as we’d hoped. 2/5 purely for the excellence of the day and night reception team and breakfast team.

Absolutely fantastic stay here for my birthday. Lovely big room, comfortable bed. Quite good night's sleep. Amazing breakfast. Good spa facilities. Relaxing massage. Tasty afternoon tea. Staff were extremely friendly. Definitely made my day.

A lovely comfortable hotel, staff very friendly. Dee on the bar was lovely. Pool facilities great as was the restaurant. Not sure on the bad reviews as we found it faultless. Would definitely return in the future . Ideal base for getting into the centre of Gloucester.

I stayed here for one night as I was attending a work meeting. It was my 3rd stop over of the week and it was by far the worst. |The hotel is dated needs a facelift big time. Stinks of damp. In desperate need of a deep clean. The windows in my room had barely any seal so draughty - altho this probably provided some necessary ventilation for the bathroom which had none.|On leaving the hotel I realised I’d left my hair products (full, obviously not for the rubbish) and raised this with the hotel. I emailed & called. I was promised a call back and never received. |Wouldn’t return and definitely wouldn’t recommend.
