We stayed in the Lotus Belle tent which is in a nice private part of the field next to a small wood with a rope swing and hammock hidden in them. My 7 yr old daughter thought it was magical and that fairies definitely lived there. The grown ups got in on the magic too as the hut is super cosy with a double brass bed and daybed too and soft duvets and blankets to snuggle up. We bought supplies and had BBQ dinner on our second evening.||||The shower/kitchen facilities are a little walk - if nearer you would trade in that lovely privacy. Given that this was a shared kitchen it only had a mini fridge, there was no tea towels or washing up liquid to be found to clean our crockery/cutlery. Also, the breakfast basket contained lots of cereals but there was no milk. I do think this would also have been nicer if it was delivery daily with fresh rather than long life produce. ||||Please also do bear in mind how close Bristol airport is, as there is no soundproofing in a tent! ||||Overall, we had a super weekend, the owners are lovely, and I'm sure will take our comments on board for future.

Myself and my partner stayed in the caravan with the hot tub for this NYE: it was more than big enough for the two of us and exceeded our expectations. The living room was cosy, with 2 sofas, a fire, and a smart tv. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even tea, coffee, milk, snacks, and juice provided. The bedrooms themselves are on the small side, but with plenty of storage. Despite the small rooms, it has everything you need for a weekend away. ||The site itself was easy to find and has a lovely surrounding area: grass, a tree house, a small private garden with a table set, and a private hot tub on the decking (if you have booked this room). Apart from a few animals nearby, it was completely silent! ||||The hot tub was definitely the highlight and was worth spending that bit extra out of the other camping options. The only downsides we experienced were: the oven originally not working. We had to call the onsite manager to come and help light it as the clicker on the oven itself was not working. We also had a problem with the heating, whereby it switched off and the boiler needed resetting. Again the onsite manager Danny came to help and got it resolved within minutes. ||||Lovely place for a quick getaway! Would definitely go back (probably in the summer) with friends!

We booked the Glamping experience the night before on Bookings.com. We did it to break up the drive to our holiday destination for our 19 month old son. We really enjoyed it, and he did to-real family time. We had a microwave, electric lights, fire pit and BBQ. This was new to the owners and they wanted feed back so I can only imagine this will get better. If you can get a dry night to light the fire your lucky, how ever we still manage to cook our bacon in the morning on the BBQ and scrambled egg in the microwave. We would love to return with friends. It is child friendly, just watch out for a few nettles in the field. There is a toilet, kitchen and shower a very short walk away and the staff we met in the morning were all very friendly.

Stayed in the shepherds hut 3 times now and enjoyed every time, all times I have stayed for one night before using Bristol airport. Great staff, very responsive and can’t do enough. Breakfast hamper provided, hot drinks, water towels etc. All what you need πŸ™‚ cannot wait to come back to stay in the summer and stay again in the shepherds hut! This time using the bbq also provided. Highly recommend πŸ‘πŸ»

We booked what we thought was a Shepherds Hut, but on checking our carefully booked hut, it was a Luxury Mobile Home with a hot tub. Well where do I start, the majority of the double glazed windows were 'blown' the lino floor was not fitted correctly and was all lumpy. There were nails protruding above the door, one window pain was broken there were holes in the ceiling and some floors. We were so upset at the state of the sooo NOT Luxury Modile Home, we left and booked a room in a nice hotel close by. This was a break on our way home to Cornwall after an amazing holiday in Asia, what a total let down.

We stayed only one night, as a short break. The glamping is new for 2017 and it's obvious. ||I will be honest - there were a few Snags - They have one two toilets and one shower and people don't clear up their washing up. ||However - ||BEAUTIFUL romantic Hut, with plenty of blankets and a log burner for if it gets cold. ||Tea and small cooking facility in Hut ||Marshmallows and sticks||Fire pit and BBQ ||Country walks ||Nearby pub is Also great and lovely staff ||Right by the airport - yes you will hear planes but.... it's ok.... honest! ||They leave breakfast and juice πŸ™‚ ||They have chickens wandering about! And a tree rope swing! ||We cannot wait to stay again!!! |

We stayed in the sheppards hut and really enjoyed it. There were minor things like the sink not working but the staff were lovely and just said leave it in the kitchenette and they washed up for us. Being so close to the airport i thought it would be noisy with planes but we barely heard them. Very chilled and just lovely. Recommend the darlington arms for food. Thank you
