I recently used Goddard’s service for a sandwich platter to feed my suppliers at our wedding the end of May. We had a string quartet play our ceremony and we were looking to provide refreshments for them as they were with us for a couple of hours. After being unable to order via the supermarkets due to short notice, I looked online for a local catering company to help and came across Goddard’s and went straight to them after seeing their excellent reviews.
They were hands down the most helpful and friendly team and they put my mind at rest when I went in to ask them if they could help. They gave me a call the next day, told me I had nothing to worry about as they would happily put together a platter for me and would even deliver to my home first thing so my family could bring them to our venue.
The presentation and quality of the food was fantastic, so much so that we had lovely feedback from our string quartet the next day via email to say the sandwiches were delicious! Goddard’s also kindly provided disposable platters and napkins so we didn’t have to worry about returning the platter trays following the wedding. They also included crisps alongside the sandwiches, which was absolutely amazing for the price!
We now can’t wait to try them for ourselves and will be visiting for lunch and we also plan to order again for a family picnic, we are so impressed!

Update since writing this: I went back last week at lunchtime and purchased their Mediterranean chicken salad, which was absolutely delicious and so fresh! The portion size was so generous and the whole meal itself was made with top quality ingredients. I also ordered a platter of sandwiches for a family get together the next day and this wasn’t any trouble at all for the team, who are really friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches were spot on, with a fab choice of fresh fillings on the tastiest, softest, thick cut white and brown bread. I can’t rate this place high enough and I am now a customer for life! My pics don’t do the food justice but I highly recommend visiting!

Amazing! We did an order for a treat at work - dealt with Sue, she was so helpful and quick at getting back to us! We sent over our order via email and food was ready, labelled and boxed up ready for collection, all food was tasty! Portions were incredible no one was left hungry! And everyone fully enjoyed their food! 100% will go to again! Everything is fresh, and such good quality! Thank you xx

Ever heard of a butchers? Frozen sausage, bacon already cooked and just warmed up, I work away a lot and that was probably the worst breakfast sandwich I’ve ever eaten in my life.

Great, shop to visit,when your hungry. The menu is extensive, the food is excellent, the staff are very polite and cheerful. Parking a little difficult, it's well worth it though. Get a few orders together, place an order and you can have it delivered. This shop is not ,your ordinary Sandwich shop, they produce more variety than that. When you want a treat, TRY GODDARDS,it's well worth it. Excellent value for your pennies.

Wide variety of choices on the menu, service is super friendly and helpful. Everything I’ve tried so far is amazing. Meatball 6” Sub is the best I’ve had. Loaded with melted cheese and perfect amount of sauce. Would recommend 100%
