We loved our 4 nights at Gold Court House. The owner made us feel really welcome and did all she could to make us comfortable. The historic property is tastefully decorated in a traditional style and beautifully maintained and clean. The breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit and yogurt, cereal and a choice of hot items, all beautifully cooked. The B&B is in a great location near the quay and nearby pubs all offered good and reasonably priced food. Wareham is a great place to stay. The locals are friendly and the town has just about everything you could want. Will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at Gold Court House. Anthea made us feel extremely welcome and the house and garden are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and the house is in a fantastic central location, just near the quay. We had great meals at The Old Granary and the Italian Kitchen (both about 3 minutes walk away). Wareham is a perfect base, well located for Corfe Castle, Swanage, Studland, Lulworth and the rest of the Isle of Purbeck. Thoroughly recommend.

Anthea & Michael are very welcoming couple with a beautiful house situated in a very convenient location in Wareham, within walking distance of many restaurants and pubs. The room we stayed in was very large, comfortable and furnished very tastefully, the breakfast's were of a high quality and plentiful. I would have no qualms in recommending this B&B for anyone who is looking to staying in this part of the country and would definitely use again myself.

A great location just round the corner from the lovely river quay with a good selection of eateries and church bells peeling with joy on a Sunday morning! Hosts are very kind and thoughtful and the attention to detail is fab. Breakfasts were delicious with fresh and stewed fruit, yogurt, cereals, crunchy toast, butter with butter knives and great cooked componants.|We came across carol singers, the town band and even a couple of mummers - a timeless place and this is a house to relax in.

We stayed for two nights recently. Anthea warmly welcomed us and showed us to our room. The room was lovely with plenty of space, easy chairs, ample drawer and wardrobe space and twin beds joined to make an enormous double, which was very comfortable. The room was immaculate and beautifully presented. When we returned each evening the bed had been meticulously turned back. We had a separate, but private bathroom, again spotless. As for the breakfast, it was 'full', cereal, fruit, yoghurt, large cooked breakfast (choice of egg type, tomato, mushroom, bacon), followed by toast and preserves. The second day I had to ask for a smaller portion! Altogether a VERY good experience. Wifi was freely available as was a telivision. Thank you Michael & Anthea.

Difficult to identify anything that could be improved. A warm and friendly welcome, we stay in Wareham regularly and this is always our first choice. ||||The hosts know the area well for those visiting on holiday and Gold Court House is perfectly located for many eating locations in Wareham.

A beautiful house with many interesting objects and books. Lovely spacious bedroom on top floor with comfortable bed, but unusual to sleep under blankets. Good toiletries but only a bath with shower attachment on taps. Our friends were in a linked bedroom which may suit family groups. The use of the cosy drawing room with open fire was very nice to return to after a busy day out and about. Delicious and most generous breakfast with attentive hosts. Charming, interesting and helpful owners. Parking in square outside free of charge between 7.00pm and 10.00am. A variety of good restaurants within a short stroll. Looking for a reason to return soon.
