We used Gold Leaf Catering for our wedding of 50 guests and they were nothing short of amazing. The communication from both Matthew and Katie was excellent throughout and they were very responsive, accommodating and professional during the planning stages. We opted for a range of canapes, a BBQ style dinner, desert and an evening snack board. The food delivered was of fantastic quality, tasted amazing and went down well with all of guests. Everything went exactly to the timings we were after and Matthew really delivered considering a small kitchen at our venue. Matthew went above and beyond to cater to some of our dietary requirements and the vegan meals were just as great as the rest of the menu. All guests were well fed and very complementary about all aspects of the food!

We would not hesitate to use them again for any future event and they helped to make our wedding day extra special.

From the very first email to the actual day, Matthew and Katie were a joy to work with and the food and service was everything we wanted for our wedding.

We came to them with a slightly odd menu mixing our two backgrounds but Matthew gave solid thoughts and suggestions and delivered a beautifully elevated version of what we wanted. We had multiple comments from friends and family saying both canapés and dinner were some of the best wedding food they’d had - and we agree. Special shout out to the fish n chip cones, sesame prawn toast, duck pancakes shared starter (where the pancakes were made from scratch for 100+ guests!), and the absolutely bangin’ bangers and mash main where the gravy was nailed.

Not only was the food delicious and beautifully presented, the service was on point. We, as the couple, got a special tray of canapés brought over to us because they knew we were busy on the other side of the venue. Just very thoughtful (pics of us enjoying this attached haha).

Gold leaf did our wedding catering and were absolutely impeccable from start to finish. Matthew and Katie would consistently go above and beyond to help with anything we needed, and would always reply to any emails and questions really quickly. The food tasting and menu choices were fantastic and Matthew was happy to make any adjustments when asked. On the day every single member of the team, including serving staff, went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day. Gold Leaf catered for our wedding of 112 guests and were fantastic from start to finish. We had flexibility with the menu choices and the food was absolutely brilliant. All of our guests were really impressed. It was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. We were so pleased with how everything went - the whole day was so seamless and we felt completely relaxed that they had everything in hand and we didn’t need to worry about a thing.

The staff were also brilliant. They were really on the ball and quick with serving drinks and making sure the wine and water were topped up. They were polite and efficient, the service was impeccable, and they worked tirelessly to make sure everyone was happy but they did so without us even noticing they were there.

We can’t thank Gold Leaf enough - they helped to make the day exactly what we wanted and we’re really grateful!

Mat & Katie at Gold Leaf Catering, catered for our Christmas Wedding at Curds Hall Barn. From the initial conversation, they listened to our ideas about what we wanted and were really helpful and responsive. We had a delicious food tasting session at their house, that sealed the deal that they were the right people to cater for our wedding. Everyone at the wedding raved about the food, the canapes were delicious, the soup was piping hot and the christmas dinner was enjoyed by everyone, even the vegans enjoyed the nut roast! Katie and Mat were super helpful making changes up until the last minute for us, they were professional and overall the service and food they delivered was amazing. There was regular communication and a great level of responsiveness throughout the lead up, with a very constructive 'can do' approach. Their service on the day was excellent.
