We decided to go away for 1 night at the last minute over the Bank holiday, preferring somewhere quiet and away from the coast. This was the ideal place! Set in the grounds of Goltho Gardens we had a twin room with en suite which was perfect. It was clean, well equipped and had the usual tea and coffee making facilities and delicious homemade biscuits. We were able to explore the gardens after they had shut and sat outside overlooking the waterlily ponds.||The owner, Debbie, was delightful and very helpful. The cooked breakfast was lovely, served in a dining room overlooking the gardens. The eggs are from their own hens, homegrown tomatoes and local bacon. Delicious!||We had been for a lovely walk in the local area and this was a perfect stopover. There was nobody else booked in so we found the quiet we wanted. We had a super meal at the local pub The Ivy in Wragby, a 5 minute drive away. It may be worth booking a table in advance as it was very busy. Food was excellent.||All in all as a last minute decision it was definitely the right one. Thank you Debbie.

We rarely go away but selected Goltho House on it's reputation and it exceeded it. The breakfast was if the highest standard every day. We stayed in the yellow room and it was very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The gardens are delightful with little surprises. My Mum for whom this was her only break this year was enchanted and loved the feel and the ambience of the house.

From the moment we arrived Debbie was the ultimate host. We were shown to our room which could not fail to impress. A huge four poster bed and a mattress you had to climb onto. The room was very clean with easy chairs, wardrobe and bedside tables. Dressing gowns provided as was tea and coffee in the room. The view from the window was outstanding as it looked directly over the well tended garden and lawns. Breakfast could not be faulted and plenty to eat. We would reccomend Boltho House to anyone looking for that little bit of luxury.

What a fabulous B&B! Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, but we may well be back to stay for more nights after this. The house is gorgeous, you feel like you're staying in a National Trust property with the decor and beautiful garden. The host Debbie was warm and welcoming and cooked up an excellent breakfast too. I'd highly recommend staying here. We'll be back!

We arrived at 9.00 pm on a Friday and were gone by 8.00 am the next morning - we used this B&B for it's location to Market Rasen for a cycling Sportive. I would have loved to have stayed longer to properly see the lovely gardens and nursery. We had 2 double rooms on the same floor with a shared bathroom down a half landing - this was fine because we were family; but I wouldn't have liked this if we weren't (in fairness, we knew this when we booked). Lovely cosy rooms; super comfy beds and superb quality bedding, towels, bath robes and choice of texture of pillows. Lovely cooked breakfasts. Our hostess couldn't have been lovelier. Highly recommended. So handy for Lincoln. Only downside was the main road traffic noise - we always sleep with our windows open but it was too noisy; quite a busy fast straight road until quite late, which even with the windows shut, woke me a couple of times.

We stayed here for two nights so we could explore the near by Polders on our bikes. There were lots of other lovely country lanes nearby to pedal safely on too .We had a very warm welcome with a cup of tea and there was everything we needed in our very well appointed room. The view over their magnificent gardens was just stunning, even at this time of year. It is only a mile to Wragby where there is a choice of pubs, though we just used the excellent Ivy pub and restaurant. The B and B is set back from a busy road but we could not hear the traffic because of the new good double glazing. The two bedrooms are not en suite but share a large modern shower room shower room.

My husband snd i visited Goltho for a two night stay 18th snd 19th July 2016 and it was superb. The food is all fresh and home made and the breakfast set us up for a long day of sight seeing around The Lincoln Castle. We were able to look around the Goltho Gardens which is like nothing on earth. The amazing colours and unusual plants are a delight to look at and very unusual. We were made so very welcome and the bed was so comfy it was better than home from home. We literally can not wait for our next visit... It was such an amazing time. Thanks again from Roger & Jenny Taylor

I stayed a total Goltho House B&B at the weekend on business and Debbie's was so welcoming. I was doing night shifts and she took the time to accommodate my needs and work around me. The breakfast was delicious (especially the sausages and egg salad from the hens). The bedroom was beautifully decorated and very warm and cosy. Would definitely stay again! Thanks Debbie for a wonderful stay!
