Nice looking place upon arrival, nice bar area and restaurant area with friendly welcoming staff. Restaurant staff were particularly helpful and accommodating. I only used the sauna from the spa facilities but the pool area looked nice.

The rest of the place needs some serious investment. Rooms were extremely dated and dusty. Toilet was not secured to the wall or floor. Doors are pretty damaged and my bathroom door scraped the floor when using it. Carpet was full of stains and the felt like it had been down over 40 years.

Looks like maintenance has been lacking for some years.

Wagyu burger was really nice and so was the chocolate brownie. restaurant and bar area and staff were great!?

Could be nice with some serious investment.

We visit the hotel and Spa twice a year spending over£400 per visit. We were upgraded on arrival which was appreciated. We acknowledge things can go wrong and in the past the hotel has recognised this and compensated fairly. This is why we continue to return. This morning we were woken at 5am by the fire alarm. Not what was hoped for on a relaxing break. On checkout when I raised this I was told another resident was smoking in their room. No offer of a discount. I found this disappointing.

Had a lovely stay and twilight spa and massage at gomersal hotel and the dream spa. All the staff were lovely and friendly, the lady on reception was always friendly and very helpful. The bar staff, night porter and breakfast staff were all lovely. We had a lovely time in the spa, again with lovely friendly staff at reception. The only down point was the room itself was a little dated but it was clean and comfortable, if a bit hot due to the weather but the receptionist kindly found us a fan which helped a bit.

Nice enough hotel, the staff were welcoming and friendly and the cleanliness good. Slept very well in the comfortable bed. Evening meal very nice, but breakfast just ok, we went at the later part of the breakfast times and the fry didn't look good, so we had toast. The downstairs part of the hotel looked good, however the hotel bedroom was looking slightly tired and the furniture needs upgrading. Overall good stay.|I thought the price was a bit expensive as we had been to another local hotel and it was far superior and cheaper.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming a true asset to the hotel. |Location and grounds are beautiful.|Actual hotel room was very spacious albeit tired and dated. Small tweaks could have vastly improved it - the blind was broken and didn’t keep any of the light out and the pillows were flat and lumpy. Room was very stuffy even with the window open wide. Every time someone went through the door on the corridor it banged which caused issues when trying to sleep. |Breakfast was good and unfortunately we didn’t get time to use the spa. |Hotel needs updating and some TLC but the staff are great!!

I recently stayed at the Gomersal Park Hotel, and my experience, especially in room 244, was far from satisfactory.

The room was very small and cramped, exacerbated by a sofa awkwardly placed in one corner. The cleanliness left much to be desired, with dust on the window sills, TV, and table. Additionally, the small table had stains from a previous guest that had not been cleaned off.

The room was extremely warm with no air conditioning or fan, making it uncomfortable. The TV, though well-placed, was very small and only offered a handful of Freeview channels. There were no curtains on the window, and the blinds did not keep the light out at night, disrupting sleep.

The bed was small, and the decor was dated with dark patches of potentially mold gathering at the ceiling and more dust on the skirting boards. The bathroom was tacky and not very clean, with dirt and dust on the floor and an old-fashioned shower that was impractical.

The welcome tray was average, offering small biscuits that were broken and crumbled. The lack of bottled water was disappointing, especially considering the room's heat. There was a distinct lack of plug sockets close to the bed.

There was no escape route diagram on the inside of the room door, which is concerning given the hotel's labyrinthine layout with corridors and staircases sporadically placed throughout, making it difficult to find a clear exit path.

The view from my window was quite depressing, overlooking run-down buildings and discarded furniture.

The pool and sauna were nice. However, the DreamSpa was disappointing and did not justify the £30 charge. The facilities included a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, and a collection of ice, which should be included for hotel guests. More than 10 people in the DreamSpa would make it feel cramped and busy.

I dined at Latitude 53 Bar & Grill. I had the Wagyu Burger for dinner, accompanied by fries and slaw. The meal was extremely nice and well-priced. The burger was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully, making it a memorable dining experience and contributes to the only highlight of my stay. The bar had a good selection of drinks and service was very good.

Breakfast was generally good, with a nice selection of hot food, cereals and fruit. However, the lack of a coffee machine and the use of a flask dispenser for coffee was disappointing. I was looking forward to a fresh coffee to start the day, and the flask coffee fell short of expectations.

The communal areas of the hotel are a highlight. The bar, restaurant, and gardens are very nice, providing a pleasant atmosphere to relax and enjoy. The gardens, in particular, are well-maintained and offer a lovely setting for a leisurely stroll or to simply unwind in the evening sun.

In stark contrast, the reception area and the corridors leading to the rooms are very run down and dated which is a theme that extends in to the rooms. These areas are in urgent need of refurbishment to match the quality of the communal spaces. The stark difference between these areas and the more polished public spaces creates an inconsistent experience.

In my opinion, my room did not meet a 3-star standard. This hotel has great potential, but I feel it needs significant investment for this potential to be fully realised and to offer a consistent and high-quality experience throughout. Given the numerous issues with the room and facilities, I am unable to recommend this hotel and will not be considering it for future stays.

All the staff were friendly and lovely, with a special mention to the lovely receptionist who greeted us on arrival, checked us in quickly and gave us information about the hotel and area, then later sourced a fan for us to have in our room. ||The bar / breakfast area was also lovely and the grounds themselves are nice.||The room itself was a little dated but it was clean and comfortable, though quite hot even with the window wide open (reception found us a fan which helped a little).

I stayed here whilst attending an event in Leeds. It's a fantastic setting, beautiful well maintained gardens and plenty of parking. It's also great for easy access to Leeds centre, about £18 in a taxi.|The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast - the beautiful area where you eat, nice and airy, bright and spacious, again the staff, the food itself and the selection, all brilliant! |Me and my colleague had quite different rooms but both clean and comfy with everything you need.|This place is most definitely value for money and some! If you're thinking of booking here, looking for somewhere to stay close to Leeds centre then do not hesitate to book the Gomersal Park Hotel
