Good Food Story catered our wedding in July and the food was delicious!! So many people have said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We had the lamb sharing platter for mains, with one guest serving on each table. Was a good bit of fun as they got to wear a chefs hat and we brought comedy aprons! Wish we could eat the meal again, meat was juicy and all the dips and sides delicious. Definitely recommend! Don’t have pics of the food on the day but do have some from the tasting!

Huge thank you again for catering our wedding! The food was absolutely divine and everyone commented how delicious it was and the Canapés were yummy as always! Especially the fish and chip Canapés! These went down a treat!!

Good Food Story were always on hand to help when needed and made sure that the Bride and Groom were fed which was so important!! Communication was great leading up to the event and we loved the food tasting leading up to this. So attentive every step of the way, so much so, that Jen even helped straighten out my dress before heading into the wedding breakfast..definitely not in your job description I'm sure but you went above and beyond and for that we are truly grateful!

Thanks again! We loved having you as our caterers and we'd choose you every time!

Just amazing! Would highly recommend Rachel and the team for any catering needs. We booked the Good Food Story for our wedding at The Outbarn and had both canapés and our wedding breakfast provided by them. No request we had for any specific needs we had was too much of an ask! The whole team are so kind, professional and attentive and every detail was covered! Our guests absolutely loved the food and couldn’t stop talking about how much they enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend the tasting session as not only was it a lovely experience to have leading up to the wedding, but it allowed us to try different options before we picked our final choices and gave us complete ease that food was going to be spot on for every one to enjoy!
They also went above and beyond for us and saved a big part of the day actually in rescuing our melted wedding cake lol! We got married on one of the hottest days of the year and with my cake being on display during our meal, it obviously melted half way through! The cake wasn’t provided by Good Food Story, nor was it their responsibility to fix, but they kindly completely saved it and redecorated it with flowers for us to make sure it was still presentable for our cake cutting before our first dance! I am one of the Social Reps for my company and we chose Good Food Story as our caterer for a 100-person Annual Christmas Meal in Skipton Town Hall. Needless to say, it was a splendid night and even though I had a hand in picking the menu I was blown away by how lovely the food was. Absolutely fantastic!

The management was extremely helpful and cooperative when planning, both on menu (that we could essentially build our self) with plenty of expert input from them, as well as budgeting. We also used them for glass hire, which saved us a lot of extra effort. They really went above and beyond for us.

Many people came up to me on the night to say this was the best Christmas party they've ever been to, and many of those with dietary requirement (gluten free, vegan, celiac, nut allergies, etc) said that this is one of the few events where their food was as good as or even better than the standard menu!!

We had a 5-canapes starter that staff brought out on glass trays offering to guests throughout which was a very nice and very fancy touch. The main meal was a lovely bit of chicken or root vegetable roast with traditional sides of steamed leafy greens and all the trimmings. My personal favourite was the mini-desserts, especially the tiramisu.

At this point I must hold my hands up and say sorry, I was too busy eating the food and enjoying the night to take pictures of the meal (whoops)

We had the absolute pleasure of having Good Food Story cater our wedding in June 2024, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very start, the team was incredibly helpful, offering thoughtful advice and creative ideas that made everything seamless.

On the big day, they delivered beyond our expectations - the food was absolutely phenomenal! So many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had.

Good food story catered our wedding in August and six months later our guests are still talking about how great the food was!
As my husband is vegetarian it was important for us to have the vegetarian food just as much a star as the meat dishes and not an afterthought and we weren’t disappointed!
Everyone we spoke to at good food story was so warm and excited about our day. We were encouraged to come up with dishes that we wanted and were not restricted in the slightest.
The day went absolutely seamlessly despite it being their first time at our venue. They even took the time to keep me updated on the Leeds game after I gate crashed them in the kitchen pre ceremony.
I would 100% recommend good food story, you won’t be disappointed!

You literally could not ask for better caterers and organisers!!! They will run with any idea you have at all and make it 10x better than you could have imagined. We went with Good Food Story after going to see many venues and feeling like everything was very restricted and like every menu was the same. They gave us free rein to choose exactly what we wanted and helped us create the wedding of our dreams. The food was also absolutely delicious with many commenting it was the best beef wellington they had ever had. They can help with ideas and pointers without being over powering too. A dream to work with and wish we could get married again just to have the food. Could not recommend highly enough and would give 10 stars if it could!!!
