We attended the Macaron Course and had a fabulous day. The small group size allowed Corinne to ensure that everyone was completely comfortable with the process and everyone achieved great results. I had a brilliant time doing the pastry masterclass at the Gourmandises Academie. Corinne was warm and welcoming and she gave me so much confidence in making pastry, which was something I'd never attempted before. We made sweet and savoury pastry with various scrumptious fillings, getting lots of hands on experience and handy tips along the way. The lunch made by Corinne was utterly delicious and the atmosphere was both friendly and interesting. I came away with so much new knowledge, 2 boxes full of delicious tarts and the excitement of knowing I can now make delicious pastry with confidence. I'd recommend this course and Corinne very highly.

Had a fabulous day baking with Corrine as a present for my mums birthday. We made some delicious creations that didn’t last long when I got them home. Also picked up some nifty tricks and tips to help save time and improve appearance. Particularly loved the chocolate tempering. Corrine is warm and amiable and a great teacher. It was fun. Already busily looking to book my next course.

I attended the pastry making class and would highly recommend it. Corinne is a supportive and friendly teacher who provides clear and well structured teaching. The day was very hands on and really built confidence through practise. This resulted in a productive and enjoyable day that developed my understanding of making and using pastry and resulted in a great selection of tarts to take home at the end.

We really enjoyed Corinne's pastry class! The atmosphere is quite relaxed and friendly, and Corinne is great and explaining and guiding you through the whole process. We loved it and would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn new baking skills and/or just have a good time!

What a fun day I had with Corinne. It was more than just a cookery class, it was a culinary experience. She told me the history of Réunion Island cuisine which explains the different influences. The ingredients were minimal and readily available items. The recipes can easily be repeated at home providing you use fresh ingredients as demonstrated by Corinne. Lovely atmosphere enhanced by the wonderful paintings on the walls, done by their resident artist daughter. I felt at home and enjoyed a walkabout to see Corinne's vegetable and herb gardens. The food was fantastic and the company was fab too. We ate together after cooking. Corinne and her husband are such lovely people. I'd highly recommend attending with your other half, children, friends or family. I intend to because it's such a fun experience and you leave with the remaining flavoursome food to enjoy when you get home.

Corinne provided such a welcoming environment and provided an amazing setting within her home. With such a small group, it meant we could help the help and attention when needed. I’ve always enjoyed baking but never thought I could make any desserts that looked so amazing. Buying this as and doing it with my girlfriend is something we’ll always look back with fond memories
