We stayed here for four nights and it surpassed our expectations. Kirsten is a wonderful host and the entire establishment was clean and in excellent condition. Our standard room was larger than normal and very comfortable. The en-suite contained a bath and separate shower cubicle. Breakfast was fantastic with everything you could wish for plus a little more. Each afternoon when we came home there were a couple of homemade cakes or biscuits waiting for us which was a nice touch. Centrally located in Campbeltown we would highly recommend this establishment. As a foot note our main reason to stay here was as a base to play golf at Machrihanish which is just a short drive away.

We stayed here for two nights on a cycling holiday around Kintyre and the islands. Super friendly hospitality including bike storage and very kindly providing use of the machine!

Stunning spacious and high ceiling rooms in a former school. The breakfast room full of light, warmth and even higher ceilings. Thoroughly recommend.

It's no surprise that every review gives Kirsteen 5 stars.|I had the pleasure of staying here for 1 night in April 2019.|When my client asked if I had any preference for this trip, Grammar Lodge was a no-brainer.|The rooms are beautiful with a very comfortable bed.|The area is silent, and heaven sent peace.|Everything you need is just a short walk. Food, pubs, supermarkets, and the fabulous Campbeltown Loch.|The breakfast is amazing. We highly recommend the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. The full Scottish breakfast is a veritable feast that will last you all day.|Thank you Kirsteen.|

Looking for somewhere to stay in Campbeltown, we found this BnB by chance. Booked by phone directly with Kristen, we were just delighted with the standard of the accommodation and the freshly cooked breakfast. |We were in room 1, a very high room with a super comfortable Super king sized bed. The room was immaculately presented, as was the en-suite bathroom. Despite being a large room, it was lovely and warm.|Breakfast timing was flexible, options of cereal, yoghurt and grapefruit/prunes to start and an extensive cooked breakfast menu. On day 1 I had the full Scottish, but took a few items off on day 2...|The room was beautifully turned down for us between nights. Kristen was very friendly, pleasant to chat to and gave us useful recommendations on the area.|A fantastic accommodation and I would thoroughly recommend it to others visiting the lovely town of Campbeltown

Such a friendly welcome and wonderful hospitality, with loads of local information. The room was lovely and just what we hoped for, with a super comfy bed. I always love a great big bath too and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.

What an amazing Guest House! Beautifully converted from a Grammar School into a cosy and comfortable Guest House. We were warmly welcomed by Kirsty who showed us to our huge room! It was a cold day weather wise and the heating was on which was brilliant. The bathroom was spotlessly clean as was the room. Breakfast was served in the old art room and very sensitively decorated in keeping with it's history. I have never had such a piping hot breakfast before and everything beautifully cooked. Kirsty is lovely and we enjoyed listening to her describing the history of the building.The bed was very comfortable and we had a really good night's sleep. Would thoroughly recommend Grammar Lodge. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Absolutely excellent accommodation with a wonderful informative friendly host, the whole lodge is comfortable and absolutely spotless with hugely comfortable rooms complete with large screen tv's and roomy bathrooms, the breakfast is outstanding, we cannot recommend this establishment high enough.
