We’ve lost count of the number of 3 nights stays we have made over the years…just back home yesterday. Sometimes we go twice a year! It is brilliant, in all respects, we love the time we spend there. Rooms are lovely, warm, quiet and comfy. |Now to FOOD…lovely quality, beautifully presented - local ingredients. Superb Chefs. So relaxing to eat in their restaurant, no need to go out looking for meals, you won’t find anything to equal breakfasts or evening meals, at The Grange. I am extremely fussy with food too!! Husband and I go with 2 friends - we look forward to the lovely evening meal and ambience of the dining room, after busy days out.|Now to STAFF….Teresa is Head of Reception/bookings - and many more aspects of the smooth day to day running. She is brilliant, a real asset to the owners, as is Rosie…always busy serving, helpful and smiling! Along with the rest of the staff.|To conclude a family owned hotel - owners Jon and Jenny have worked so hard to achieve this standard and continue to do so. They always have time to chat and make you feel welcome, no matter how busy! Thank you all once again.|Go on just book The Grange…you won ‘t find better.

We visited the Grange to celebrate my Wife’s birthday. Everything was perfect. A very warm welcome and a very comfortable room. |Dinner was an absolute delight from the canapés to the petite fours. The food was very well prepared, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. |Breakfast was amazing with a fantastic choice. |The service throughout was friendly and efficient. |We will be returning to The Grange !

We sadly only stayed for one night. What a delightful hotel, with the loveliest staff and the coolest Cat. This hotel is in a stunning setting and beautifully designed with comfortable beds and above all spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent together with a quality breakfast, what else could you ask for. Will most definitely return when we are next in the area.

A really nice short break at the hotel. First time we had visited and I'm sure it won't be the last. Excellent location in a quiet and pretty village just outside Sherborne. Very comfortable and spacious room with lovely food both at dinner and breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful whenever needed.

Would highly recommend for a break away. We booked direct with the hotel and they offered a great deal including dinner, bed and breakfast. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Quiet location with plenty of parking and beautiful garden. Excellent service. We will be back again.

This hotel is absolutely stunning! The pictures do not do it justice. The hotel is charming, beautiful, unique, vintage and quirky. There is lots to see around the hotel and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We booked for the festive getaway deal which was an amazing price for all it included, we upgraded our room prior to arriving and on arrival got told we were upgraded again for free which was a wonderful surprise. Our room was absolutely beautiful! The hotel was very peaceful and the food and drinks were delicious. Our room and the hotel was very clean. We absolutely love the friendly, cute hotel cat Neptune!! Breakfast didn't come with all items included on the menu (we didn't get any potatoes, mushrooms or tomatoes like stated) they also hadn't had their delivery of bacon so breakfast seemed a little chaotic, but other than that everything was perfect, staff were friendly and attentive and we absolutely cannot wait to come back and stay here again! I highly recommend this hotel, really beautiful and peaceful and great value for money.

An excellent, calm, and cosy hotel that oozes character and is situated in rural somerset (maybe Dorset?). Despite arriving at 11pm, the night porter made check-in a breeze - exactly what you need after a long drive, thank you! My room was lovely, with a modern bathroom and a huge bed. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, enjoy your stay!
