We very much enjoyed our mid week break in Yew Tree cottage. It was warm comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We also enjoyed our meals at the Stables restaurant ( be warned, very large portions!) I especially enjoyed the hot tub, it was very hot but I should have asked for the temperature to be turned down. The bathroom was huge but only had an over the bath shower, we would have preferred a walk in shower but know that others prefer a bath. The only thing missing was a bucket so that we could more easily wash the dog, the drive was very muddy! Hattie, our dog, enjoyed the dog field, meeting the friendly collie and the walks on nearby beaches. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and really enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend!

I have just stayed in Pod 3 for 4 nights and it was lovely. The room was fairly spacious and clean. I found the bed comfortable despite other reviews saying otherwise. We went for a meal in the stables pub and it was nice, the 2 gentleman were very polite and welcoming.
The Hot-tub was amazing the whole time we were there although on the second day the water had a very odd smell to it despite us following the guidelines and showering before use. However the day after once the maintenance team had seen to it, the smell had gone.
The only improvement i could think of is to add a little character to the back garden area. I think some fairy lights on the fence would be a nice touch for the evening/ nighttime just to make it more relaxing and a bit easier to see. It was a bit of a struggle to get the hot tub cover on and off but ultimately not a big problem.
Thank you for a relaxing 4 nights away and i would definitely return!

Just stayed here in luxury room 3. Been here more times then I can count now and booked again for next month for 2 nights. This place is amazing. So clean and comfortable. The food is the best place we've eaten out at. Had both evening meal and breakfast. We can't wait to go back again.

The most lovely, peaceful and cute getaway ever. We stayed in one of the glamping pods and it’s the perfect spot for couples! The hot tub was amazing, the pod was so cosy and the views were lush! Surrounded by a lovely pond and the farm had some really cute animals. Amazing touch with the anniversary decorations. Supplied with the basics to make food like cutlery, plates, microwave, kettle and there are shops nearby too! A lovely beach nearby also. Just all round perfect, would definitely stay again!! 👍🏻

We got a pleasant welcome from reception on arrival. Room 6 is a spacious room, well-presented, very clean and it was lovely and warm when we arrived. It was a festive one night package so it would have been pleasing to have a little token gesture of that in the room e.g a sprig of holly or a mince pie, perhaps. The bathroom is very big and the reason I have not given the room five stars is because I found the over-bath shower difficult to get into and out of. The bath is huge with high sides and, as a woman no longer in her prime, and not as agile as I would like to be, I was not confident when trying to clamber in and out. I know that is something that can't be easily fixed, but people should be aware of it. Also, I would have liked to have been able to make the water warmer. Regarding the location of the room, the view from the lovely big window was disappointing; but perhaps that is because it is winter and everything looks brown and muddy. Hopefully, in the spring and summer it is brightened up with some colourful flowers and foliage. Overall, I would certainly stay again but request a room with a wetroom, if there is one, or try one of the many other types of accommodation available.

Stayed in poppy Lodge. Lodge very nice, facilities great, restaurant good. BUT first night there was a party in the teepee right next to the Lodge with VERY LOUD music!! The bass was shaking the lodge|We couldn't sleep and neither could the kids. NOT the relaxing break away we needed!! Tonight i asked the waitress in the stables restaurant if there was another party tonight she said no, guess what. Another party on the second night. Luckily not as loud. there was no pre warning of these disturbances for both the nights of our stay... Really disappointed.

We had to great time in Walnut house, it was very clean with a Christmas tree up , the staff are more like a family and all the members of the staff are very friendly and helpful, we have booked to go back this year in December. You will have a great time there so book a good time and the beach is only 10mins in the car away.

I took my partner for a birthday surprise and we had one of the luxury suites with a hot tub! It was fantastic and all of the added extras that I prearranged were set up lovely. The lady checking me in was really helpful and the staff in the restaurant were super accommodating. Overall we had a fab time and have already started planning our next trip!
