One of the nicest rooms / suite I’ve ever stayed in. Don’t usually push the boat out but so glad we did. The most beautiful suite of room with hot tub and top notch facilities. Nestled in quiet countryside on edge of Grange. Gorgeous breakfast brought to our rooms which was a real treat. Such a lovely experience. We also had a day trip on the train which is very nearby (if you cut through a steep country path), so it’s handy for exploring surrounding areas car free. Or by bike as we like to do. No restaurant on site but town is a little saunter down the hill (we went to the @fishoverchips chippy, also v tasty). Highly recommended this beautiful B&B. Very good experience, 3 night stay in a lovely room with direct access to a private garden and private hot tub. Very quiet and peaceful location. All the staff were excellent and extremely helpful. Good breakfast served in the room, at the requested time. Very well appointed room with quality furnishings, tea and coffee facilities, fridge, wine glasses and flutes. High standards are maintained by the attentive staff and the Manor is ideal for those seeking a short stay that is that little bit special.

Having recently ungone an extensive update and upgrade the Grange Manor is the epitomy of a 5 Star Luxury B&B. Set in its own ground with only birdsong to wake you (and the smell of bacon cooking) we stayed in the Goldfinch Suite for an all too brief rest before tackling Keswick. We had a well equiped bathroom with bath, walk in shower and a comfort level toilet. The bedroom had a true superking bed, guest fridge and 50 inch TV and luxury carpet but then we found a separate summer room with a breakfast table, 2 chairs and another TV for the evening (or morning). The icing on the cake was the 2 person jacuzzi directly outside the window. Private, protected from the rain or sun and blissful as a wind down when you arrive or having walked some or all of the 2½ mile prom just a few minutes away. Did I mention the birdsong whilst in the tub? Last but definitely not least is the management. Young, enthusiastic, professional and attentive. As you would hope for a 5 star, nothing is too much. A good breakfast to your requirements with some old school oddities such as hash browns as well as fresh, vine tomatoes, sausage etc. and a fruit compote to start.

Excellent stay, beautiful room , spacious and luxurious with everything you need from a coffee machine, small fridge with complementary milk and water for you to use. great breakfast served to your room which was incredible with great choices for vegetarians too. |Hot tub was a bonus. Location only ten minute walk to the village where everyone was so friendly. Loved my stay and I can’t wait to go back again for a romantic get away .

Beautiful & absolutely amazing place & stay, we booked for my wife's birthday & the staff put in our room a lovely birthday surprise for Michelle. Rooms are beautiful, spotlessly clean not a thing out of place. Spa jacuzzi is a great addition with our garden room. Breakfast was excellent & being waited on to your table in your room is a brilliant touch. Everything for your stay has been thought of & included for you. We had dinner out 10minute walk away to estuary bistro which was great & food excellent. Cannot praise staff & the Grange Manor enough excellent service will definitely be staying here again as it is only 40mins away from home. Nice touch is book about grange Manor telling you it's history aswell as we're to visit, eat & local information.

Lovely 3 night stay at Grange Manor. Staff are so friendly, room was huge and breakfast was tasty. The B&B is in a nice location, surrounded by woodlands and a short drive into the town. We walked from the B&B into cartmel which is worth visiting. It was one of the most relaxing weekends we’ve had in a long time!! Some of the rooms have hot tubs which we would have booked if we hadn’t left it so late! ..Overall a perfect, peaceful weekend.

This b&b was an absolute treat. By far exceeded any expectations I had. I went for my daughter turning 21 & what a way to start her birthday! The room was faultless. Staff were so attentive and the breakfast was superb 👌.. they have got everything spot on. You won't be disappointed after your stay!

Stunning large room, although not the one pictured with a bath in the window sent with our confirmation. Very nice large bathroom with excellent shower. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. Very quiet location but, for us, being up a hill, with none or little street lighting going out of town not the ideal place to be in March if you did not wish to drive, OK with lighter evenings in the summer. We arrived at 2.00 pm and after ringing the doorbell twice and no answer we entered and eventually after calling out were greeted by the lady servicing the rooms, despite having filled in the check-in the previous evening stating we would arrive around 1.00 pm ours was the only one not ready so we decided to head into town via a walk down through the woods and made the decision to stay until the evening. Rang twice with a message to say that we would be checking in around 6/7 pm and asking for confirmation that this would be OK, both of which went to voicemail. When we arrived back we queried why we had received no response to our messages and was told by the person on duty, who appeared a bit flustered, that they had just come on and at one stage in the conversation she said "You do not have to stay here".
