Wow-wow-wow we can’t find enough superlatives to describe this fabulous B&B with a superb view of the harbour. Ann, the owner is such a lovely host and a great artist. A very generous Continental breakfast is served in your room looking down at the harbour. St-Monans is a beautiful fishing village, so relaxing and peaceful. No city noise or cars passing by, just the sound and feel of the ocean wind. The East Pier smokehouse offers fresh fish and seafood served in the raw is just a stone throw away as well as a top end restaurant named Craig Millar that serves inspired cuisine with superb ocean view.||St-Monans is also a prime spot to access the coastal trail and many golf courses, St-Andrews, Balcomie, Kingsbarn to name just a few are only a 15-20 minutes drive.||We highly recommend this B&B, and hope to be back one day!||Sincerelsy Danielle & Sylvain

We are currently sitting by the open window overlooking the harbour after having had a superb breakfast served to our room. The smell of croissants wafting up the stairs sharpened our appetite. We are in the top bedroom which has a fantastic view across the fishing boats and we woke up to sunshine pouring in the window, gulls crying and sea lapping. Scotland at its best! Ann is a very attentive host and the supplies left in the room are extensive. She has thought of everything! We only live 40 mins away so our great experience will encourage us to return again for a revival stay! Thank you so much. A job well done!

A lovely B&B right on the harbour side with stunning views. Anne was a wonderful friendly host and had thought of everything needed for a enjoyable stay. Our top floor double room had a comfortable bed, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, tv and best of all a bistro table and chairs by the window to sit and enjoy the view whilst you had breakfast. ||A continental breakfast with fresh fruits and freshly baked croissants, bread and jams are delivered to your room in the morning and the fridge contains orange juice, milk, yogurts, cheeses and hot smoked salmon. Cereals, oatcakes, tea bags and coffee are also in the room.||The private very pretty bathroom has a roll top bath with shower attachment and is just opposite the bedroom door. Fluffy white towels are provided as is bubble bath. ||There are 3 flights of stairs in the house with a twin room / bathroom on the second and a double room/ bathroom on the 3rd so maybe difficult for some people but a good workout for most. Anne is an artist and has her studio and private accomodation on the first two floors. Her colourful paintings adorn the ground floor studio. ||We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the lovely village of St Monans and can't wait to visit Grannies Harbour B&B again.

Beautiful interior decor in rooms and attention to detail, with a lovely view of the Harbour while sitting at the breakfast table in our bedroom. After a long walk along the Fife coastal path I really appreciated the big corner bath and watching the sun setting over the Harbour. High quality breakfast too. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

A charming house right on the harbour. Our top room had stunning views and everything we could possibly want. Add to that a breakfast of fresh fruit and croissants and an extremely friendly and helpful landlady and the result is the perfect B & B!

A lovely, peaceful, location to just sit and let the world go by. The best thing by far, though, was this wonderful landlady. Nothing at all was too much trouble and her coffe is the best I've ever tasted. If you want to experience the real Scotland, go here. Hoots!

Another enjoyable stay at Grannies B & B . Great view at breakfast of St Monans harbour in October prior to setting off to watch the Dunhill cup at St Andrews.||||Great location for visiting surrounding locations Anstruther, Crail, Pittenween all within max 15min by car. St Andrews only 30 mins. away.

A perfect stay. The rooms are charming, the breakfast scrumptious and the view on the harbor lovely. Ann is a delightful hostess, always cheerful and helpful, and St Monans was a perfect stop on our family vacations.
