Our wonderful weekend stay could not of gone any better. We were blown away with our rooms decor plus the view from our pillows! as we could see St Pancras's kings Cross station Spire and clock, it faced directly to our room, 324.
The service was impeccable and the attention to detail was generous. The Happy Birthday chocolate and fruit platter was a super surprise, along with Prosecco, that was nicely chilled.
The turn down service with bottled water and chocolates added a welcoming cosy feeling on our return. We cant express enough just how delicious the Full English Breakfast was. Each member of staff were efficient making our experience at Rails felt special. This is our second stay at the GNH and we highly recommend you stay here. The location was excellent and with great connection links.

This hotel is located just outside the King’s Cross and St. Pancras train stations. King’s Cross Square with food and shoppes are around the corner as well. ||This hotel was very clean - 5/5. ||The staff were nice. ||There is bag storage. ||They have a nice snack area at the end of the floor. ||The Heritage room was tight but we were able to fit 2 checked bags, 1 carry-on shoulder bag and 2 book bags. ||We didn’t hear any trains and we faced St. Pancras. We were in room 403. ||The only con was the AC was not working properly on the first night and it was warm. The staff did bring a fan and some chocolates. It ended up working by the end of the trip.

The hotel is lovely and clean and the bar is excellent as is the location.

Really really expensive I would say for what you get in terms of room size

The rooms were REALLY small. With 2 suitcases there was literally no floor space left to walk around

nice, clean, pretty hotel with soundproof rooms and great location. if this hotel were priced lower it would earn 5 stars. However, there are lots of smaller issues that make this hotel not worth the price especially compared to other hotels in the area. Low quality beds. No desk space to use a laptop, or even a chair...just a small bench.

This hotel is fantastic. Location is ideal as it’s at St Pancras and Kings Cross stations.
Our room (we stayed in the same one twice) was perfect. On the 5th floor with a dormer. Very clean, quiet and nicely designed. There’s a pantry on the hall with snacks, espresso machine and tea.
Staff are so helpful and friendly.
We will return!

Beautiful hotel located at Kings Cross railway station. Built around 1850, and furnished to be consistent. Efficient and friendly service. As Marriott platinum members we were upgraded to a larger room, that was lovely and located next to the pantry with snacks, tea, and coffee. We were given a free breakfast at the elegant Rails restaurant. Good combination of traditional, luxury, and vegan choices. |

The rooms are too small with no space to even open your suitcase. One person has to stay on the bed for the other person to walk. The cupboard/shelves are non existent with a folding door which don’t fully open because of the narrow passageway! The only hotel I’ve lived in that didn’t have a mini fridge!

While the location of the hotel might be good, for the price you would expect a bigger room!

Given London prices and standards, this is a bargin. The room was fairly small but well appointed with all amenities you need. Nice decor and fittings etc. So cosy feel. Seemed well insulated from other room noise. And had a decent shower. Compared to similar price rooms in the area such as the abysmal premier inn, this is night and day better and feels like a decent hotel rather than somewhere you are forced to stay because work has a price cap for hotels. Service at the front desk was also pleasant. And you could not be any closer to kings cross and st pancras stations unless you slept on a platform. Very happy to stay again.
