I made a mistake and booked it without reading all the comments. Don't know where to start from. ||Room was not clean. There was weed left in the drawers from the previous guest. Toilet is outside the room . Normally I don't mind that but it was filthy. When I walked in, the guy who sat at reception looked at me surprised. He said that normally women don't stay here. Don't open your door if someone knocks. I couldn't find anywhere else to stay so I stayed the night. Room was absolutely freezing. Whoever was in the next room was listening music until 6 am and smoking in the room. I was so scared to get out and say something. So as soon as it was 6 am I called a cab and got out of there. ||Apparently that place is used by council to send homeless people. They only reserve 3 or 4 rooms for other people for match days etc. ||Not suitable for families. Not suitable for a female staying alone. Not going back of course.

Dont use the hotel but have used the Pub underneath many times before going to watch Manchester United. Great staff and very friendly atmosphere. Great secure place for parking if your going the match and only ten pounds. Only a short walk from the ground.

was told parking would be free, because we were staying at this hotel, but when we arrived after a 3 hour drive, was told we have to pay £8 on match day's. all well and good but once we were parked we were unable to move the car, we did plan on a little shopping whilst we were there, not a chance! the car was blocked in, the main reason we were there, was we were going to see soccer aid, but we were there early enough to have gone to the trafford center. in my opinion, its just greed! fair enough, charge the people that just go to park, that i would expect. rip off! our room was not a bad size, but our friends room was tiny, a double bed, with a king size mattress on lol! the cleaner could do a better job, as there was dust in our room, the artificial flowers were thick with it. the staff inside the hotel did make us welcome, and aggreed with us about the parking charge.

This place is a converted house with 24 rooms. Some are ensuite some with toilet and bathroom on different levels The pplace is basic but clean tidy and welcoming. There is comparison to an hote but is serves the needs for a bed for the night. There is no option for breakfast but there is a place to eat ood and make T & C.

Only there for the northern soul nights but love the place it's got real character and the people are really friendly x
