Not out first visit and will definitely not be out last. We love this site, love the little pub in site, and the fact they have food stalls visit Fridays and Saturdays ( pie night is Saturday and the food is amazing) |Staff are always friendly and helpful, the toilets and shower blocks are always clean. Showers are nice and hot with a shower screen that helps to keep your clothes in a dry area. Pitches are reasonable size and the location of the site is perfect to walk into Bakewell and/ or visit the local Thornbridge brewery. Local Aldi which is in walking distance towards Bakewell.

Lovely location with close access to Bakewell. Aldi a few minutes up the road as is a lovely brewery. Nice and friendly staff with great and stunning clean facilities. Small but nice friendly bar on site. Great pitches with plenty of space and a large, fenced in dog park.

The site is set in the beautiful peaks just a 20 minute walk from the lovely town of Bakewell with plenty of great walks which can be done as a circular from the site without the need to drive to a start point. ||The facilities on site are plentiful and well mainted with instant hot water at good pressure. Added bonus is the cozy well stoked bar on site and stone baked pizza van on a Friday night. ||We orginially booked for 3 nights with the intention of drivng on elsewhere but with so many beautful walks in the local area and a comfy site we ended up staying for 6!!

This was our first stay at any campsite with our motorhome, and we had a fantastic time. its a well looked after site and the staff are so helpful. we will definitely come here again. this has set a high bench mark for the rest of the sites we will visit.

Really lovely campsite! Staff were very welcoming and friendly, site had everything you need, toilets and shower blocks were extremely clean, pot washing area also clean. We stayed Sunday - Tuesday and campers were respectful and no noise after 10pm, lovely walk straight into Bakewell from the site too, will definitely be returning here ☺️

The Campsite was in a great location ideally situated for accessing Bakewell, Ashford, Chatsworth etc during our visit one amenities block was closed and so was the pub. The other amenities were not very user friendly in the showers. The disabled facilities were hazardous with a raised up shower tray, nowhere for bottles, water that sprayed the floor making it slippery and no seat not even a toilet lid. Other than this the site was well presented, nice views and enjoyed our stay.

Stayed in our motorhome at this fantastic venue & location. Nestled in the valley of the Peak District, Greenhills is a real gem with genuinely nice owners and their son. It offers a bar, an essentials shop, and chuck wagons on Fridays and Saturdays if you fancy a night off from cooking. Grounds were well looked after, clean toilets, etc, all comfortably informal. Thank you, Greenhills, we will return.
