Popped in for a Sunday lunch, blow away by the friendly staff and warm welcome. I had spiced chicken strips to start an a topside roast beef lunch. Without doubt the best Sunday lunch I've had! I didn't have room for a dessert as the portion size is plentiful. I can't recommend the food,service or ambience of this family run restaurant. Recommend booking in advance as a popular place.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful wake for my dad. The venue was perfect for us to celebrate his life. A beautiful quiet space with fantastic food and beautiful gardens to enjoy the sunshine.

I came on the 13/04 for a birthday celebration.The room we were given was beautiful as were the grounds.|We booked for 21 guests and preordered the food in advance .|The staff were very friendly and did offer to help us set the room up.|We booked for 1 pm but the first meal didn’t arrive until 2:05, I do understand that sometimes food can take a bit longer with a larger group .|But the food was so slow that we had to start eating it or the food would have gone cold ,We had eaten are lunch while people were still being served !|We had wanted to eat as a group !|Now onto the food ..|Anyone that had salmon said it tasted amazing but it didn’t come with the advertised mash potato same with the bangers and mash !|We did request that the onion gravy was changed it didn’t taste good but this was promptly changed.|I had the roast lamb two tiny slices of lamb it was a child’s portion !|Half a carrot ,x3 roast potatoes ,cabbage and floret of cauliflower cheese I think they forgot to add the cheese!|The roast pork must of been under the hot plate for to long everyone complained the meat was chewy and hard !|Not sure how the beef tasted but we were expecting some sharing vegetables these obviously didn’t arrive.|We were offered puddings I didn’t bother why should I pay more to make up for my empty lunch plate.|But they had ran out of custard every dessert had spoon full of custard !|The chef did come out to say sorry for the delay !|When I paid the bill I had to pay a service charge I had no choice but to pay.|I pay a service charge for good service not a plate that’s missing half of its ingredients.|We didn’t complain on the day but all I will say is don’t bother going there you will be disappointed.

Got there and ordered dinner from the menu. Came out from the kitchen and it was so nice. Staff were very nice aswell. Very recommended. Booking advised tho as it does get busy. It’s in a nice quiet area near Bridgwater. Cosy little food place.

Had our wedding here in July 2024 for 90 people, what a lovely setting. Married out on the lawn, marquee, canapes, reception and evening Pig Roast. Food was absolutely delicious. The staff were all very nice. Martin & Sue were the best hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We have had lots of great comments from family & friends, regarding the setting and how lovely everything was. I would highly recommend this place

I notice you never mentioned you said you would give us our money back, you use the word arbitary quite a lot, did you really expect us to set up the room on our wedding day, you say you were’nt given notice, we imformed you asap, yet you arbitary decided not to return our money, you know and i know, you will get a booking on the specific date, cos ots 5 months away, this is my last word on this messy affair caused by you, I WILL tell people about your refusal to give even part of the deposit back, enjoy our money, spend it well

The restaurant was introduced by a friend. We would have never known about the restaurant otherwise. The restaurant is part of the farm building hidden down a small country lane, and from the outside, one would never expect to find a restaurant. Once inside, it was actually very welcoming and enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and professional in all aspects. The food was fresh, well prepared, and presented. The price for 6 people, including drinks, came under £200 which I thought was very reasonable. The bottom line is that it is a hidden gem.
