Having been a seasonal pitch holder on the site for many years we were very sad to leave. The site is tucked away in a rural setting with lovely views and nearby walks with trackways ideal for dog owners. The site is safe , secure and friendly. My wife often stayed on her own and always found someone to chat to.

The newly refurbished shower block, waste disposal and kitchen facilities are clean and warm. .

The site is an ideal base for visiting many nearby coastal resorts and the town of Fakenham is only a 5 minute drive away for shopping, eating out, banking and even a visit to the cinema.

We will miss visiting the site this season but we will be back Mike !!.

Highly recommended.

We had a week’s stay here in June and would highly recommend. Site Manager Mike was extremely helpful and the facilities were clean and pleasant. The site is small and quiet. It is in a good location for visiting sites in North Norfolk and beyond. We were there during the very heavy rain and feared we’d be in a muddy mess but amazingly the site stayed remarkably stable; it was wet but not muddy. We very much appreciated the gift of eggs from Mike’s son’s chickens, especially the huge egg with a double yoke. Even though the weather wasn’t the best for most of the week we had a really enjoyable stay and intend to return.

Great little campsite and amenities, the campsite warden was great always available to help and advise where needed. The campsite is nice and secluded and adult only. Plenty to explore using the campsite as a base with Sculthorpe Moor just 5 mins away and the coast only 30mins away. Fakenham is also 10 mins away for groceries and eating out. Cannot recommend enough Sculthorpe Mill such a great spot to relax and enjoy a pub style meal and drink and only 5 mins away.

This place is small but amazingly well looked after by Mike.

We have been coming here mainly for short stays for a number of years and every time we do there has been an improvement.

The plots are large with a number of seasonal vans circling the site. Probabaly a dozen other plots for Caravans or Mobile homes and the occasional camper.

The site is very clean in fact exceptional, very well kept and with Mike in charge safe and secure.

Its a lovely place which i recommend highly

Nice chap that runs the place, good facilities, unfortunately awful family from southern England in tents that made noise till very late and wondered why people got fed up. It was fine though as he wanted to fight everyone to prove a point. You get them everywhere. The chap that run the site couldn't be more helpful, very approachable, very reasonable complete gentleman. Apart from the the unfortunate lowlife that you will always get I would recommend the site. Brilliant

Excellent site. Quiet and exceptionally helpful site owner. The only annoying issue is that when the phones aren’t manned there is no way of leaving a message. I’ve phoned numerous times and the phone rings off the hook. It would be helpful if a recorded message could be available to give best times call etc. or maybe a voicemail to enable calls to be returned. Thinking maybe custom is lost because of this?

Have been coming here for some years now. Lovely site. Very peaceful with no commercial distractions - just the way i like it. The owner is friendly and always willing to help out or just stop what hes doing for a friendly chat.
Definitely would recommend this small & beautiful site.

Livid! Allowed me to call and book two pitches. I’m 4 hours away from home and then when I arrive I am told that it is “adult only”.... oh but don’t worry dogs are allowed, oh yes they believe that dogs are very much part of the family. I’m stranded with two children 4 hours from home and no campsite.
