Greystones is a beautiful house surrounded by gorgeous gardens and Diana is an amazing host. My room was sparkling clean and light, with a super comfortable bed. Diana greeted me with tea and home made cake and made me feel at home immediately. Breakfast was a real spread, again featuring home made granola and marmalade and delicious bread from the local bakery. Diana and husband Chris are so friendly and interesting and really helped me out with tips for places I wished to visit, maps and directions.||A truly lovely stay and I do hope to return....one night was definitely not enough!

We arrived to be greeted by our lovely hosts who brought tea and home-made cake (delicious) into the garden for us all to enjoy. They were very kind to our children and our dog (which was being quite a nuisance, chewing the croquet set and skidding around the lawn) and our rooms were spacious, spotless and with a beautiful view. Diana has a beautiful, gentle intelligence and has led a fascinating life and we very much enjoyed our time staying with her and Chris. Would definitely book again.

I had a lovely stay at Diana’s beautiful house for a weekend in July. I didn’t get to stay that long, sadly, as I was there for a friend’s celebration - I could happily have stayed longer in Diana’s peaceful home. She and her husband went above and beyond in making me feel at home, and in helping me organize what I needed for my friend’s celebration, including taking me to a great nearby farm shop to buy some cheese! I wasn’t feeling that well that weekend, and they were souls of kindness - hospitable, warm and totally understanding. I also loved the comfy big bed, beautiful room, delicious full English breakfast including homemade granola, and hanging out reading my book in their hammock in the garden. Thank you Diana for a lovely and restorative stay!

The reviews and the photos of Greystones House don't lie, it is truly the complete package. The bedroom was understated luxury, with a huge comfortable bed but the real stars of our experience were Diana and Chris who really made us feel very welcome. We were greeted by Dianna who gave us a quick cooks tour of the garden and a cup of tea. To sum up our stay it felt like we were visiting old friends. The only regret was we only booked one night.

I had a wonderful couple of nights staying at Greystones House. Diana gave me a warm welcome and we enjoyed tea and cake together. Later I spent a glorious couple of hours sitting by the fire, enjoying the peace of the house. I slept well in the large comfortable bed, and in the morning I enjoyed the view from my bed, through the windows and down to the garden.||||I would recommend a stay here to anyone wanting a night or two in a peaceful home-from-home. I certainly hope to return.

It was sheer delight to be treated to the wonderful hospitality that Diana and Chris gave us, especially as were we unable to arrive until 10 p.m. The arrangement for time of breakfast had been made when our friend booked the stay for us, and Diana had left a note so we could choose our menu for the breakfast and the son of the house checked we had everything that we required on arrival.||The room exceeded all expectation, Large luxurious bed with, every detail thought of and plenty of room for the two of us. Wonderful to draw the curtains onto the view of the garden and the sound of the birds. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented with all options available. Homemade marmalade yummy with as much toast as we wanted. Chris provided a map to help us find our way to a local area we wanted to visit. We stayed two nights, but would have liked to stay longer to explore the area, especially as there is use of a large sitting room for relaxation and the garden to explore.

From the moment Diana opened her front door to Greystones House we felt welcomed into their lovely home.||||We were shown to our beautiful room with double aspect windows overlooking the gardens and tennis court, with wonderful fresh flower arrangements on the dressing table and dresser freshly picked from the garden.||||After we had unpacked, Diana and husband Chris met us in their sitting room for homemade coffee cake and tea in front of a gorgeous log fire. Diana stated the sitting room was available to us each evening, and when we returned from Castle Carey having had our evening meal the sitting was cosy and a fire had been lit for us with extra logs for the evening at our disposal.||||Breakfast was served in an elegant but cosy dining room at a time pre-arranged by us and was simply fabulous with homemade stewed fruit, muesli, and yogurt on the sideboard to serve ourselves and pots of fresh coffee and tea and toast on the table. We were then served a full English breakfast that was just delicious and set us up for the day to see the sites.||||We stayed for three nights and while there, visited Wells Cathedral and Bishops Palace and gardens, Glastonbury and Berkeley Castle. We spent a morning pottering in Castle Carey amongst the eclectic mix of old fashioned High Street shops rather like something from Miss Marple. Highly recommend the bookshop on the High Street and the little cafes.||||We would most certainly return. Our experience at Greystones was like going home and being wonderfully nurtured and that is entirely due to Diana and Chris.

B&B in a early 19 century building with a lot of original features still there. You will dream away in your spacious room in a very large bed with a nice view of the gardens. Only one room on the first floor. The room was a bit dusty and spiders lurking from outside in to the room. |The owners are very open and nice people and serve a good breakfast and very nice teas with excellent home baked cakes. Diana and Chris are lovely people and make your stay so enjoyable that you have to come back and stay with them again. Challenged by Chris and Diana's son to play a game of croquet, my wife and I had never played, resulted in a overthrow of the British. |Chris showed his old Wooden Folkboat sitting outside at back of the former blacksmith workshop waiting for a new owner whom can get it for free on the condition that is will be restored to its former Glory.|Thanks for the very nice raw Jersey cow milk in the morning.|Go there and enjoy hospitality !!!!!!!!!
