My son got married at Grimscote Manor and the experience provided to my son, his bride and all of the guests was wonderful, the staff couldn't do enough for all of us and they worked so hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. The surroundings were perfect for a winter wedding, the food, drink, hospitality was second to none. The ceremony, wedding breakfast, the evening reception were wonderful and everyone of the guests were looked after. The rooms were excellent too, comfortable and spacious. The wedding of my son and daughter in law was one of the happiest days of my life and much of this was down to everyone at Grimscote Manor. A huge thank you for the experience I would recommend as a wedding venue and would recommend for a hotel stay.

Customer Satisfaction fully met, this hotel has created the utmost customer experience, it has a true spirit of Christmas feel with lovely decorations which enhanced our stay. On arrival the young lady at the hotel reception made us feel really welcome, asking with interest about our journey and plans for the weekend. Food in the hotel is cooked fresh to order, and comes served to the table with staff who have attention to every detail. Value for money here is really good. Credit where its due team at Grimscote Manor Hotel, travelling from East Sussex - you made our trip to Birmingham relaxed and feel extra special..... Absolutely - very highly recommended.

Booked the Grimscote for private dining for my 40th Birthday.|The staff decorated the room to my chosen colour scheme, which looked beautiful. |The setting is so interesting with plenty of beautiful features and decor.|Staff were all attentive and polite and served all 13 of us promptly. We all chose a variety of options from the menu including vegan / vegetarian and every single person complimented the food. Everything was served perfectly and the taste matched the presentation. Hearty, home cooked food.|The little cups and saucers and tea / coffee served was a lovely end to a perfect meal. Thankyou all so much for making it the perfect evening for my Birthday, would definitely return.

For my Birthday Celebrations, my husband booked Bed and Breakfast at this fabulous Hotel- although Itโ€™s s local to us, it still felt like a real break.||Lovely clean room and yummy breakfast ||The next day we were joined by family for a Birthday Meal-Gill expertly catered for a group of 9 adults and a toddler, plus accommodating a baby.||It was so lovely- beautifully set out and decorated, food was wonderful, including Vegetarian and Vegan.||The grounds are massive- they keep chickens and grow produce. Check out the Narrow Boat and canal, complete with lock - absolutely brilliant. You can see how it was developed on George Clarkes Amazing Spaces and tbh Steve should have his own show as his imagination, design and delivery are awesome - he is also really interesting to chat to.||Highly Recommend this place, lovely surroundings and friendly staff ||Thankyou for making my Birthday so special

I arranged a surprise meal and invited two special friends for my sonโ€™s 50th birthday last night.
The room was perfect. If he didnโ€™t realise he was 50 before, he certainly did when he entered the room โ€ฆ the โ€˜50โ€™ balloon arrangement was huge and the flowers were wonderful. All organised by the staff.
Gill and her team are so kind, friendly, welcoming with attention to detail.
The food as always, was amazing.
You made his memories very special.
Thank you guys.

I don't like being negative, but feel obliged to give my opinion on Grimscote Manor to, hopefully, save others from my experience. I stay at a lot of hotels and don't usually book as long as 4 nights at a place I don't know, but given the positive reviews I did and paid in advance. What a mistake!. I was allocated room 10 on arrival and asked to either change room or be given a refund after the first night. The road noise was horrendous and there is no noise insulation between the 4 upstairs rooms on this floor of the annex. It was also very hot and stuffy. The towels provided are frayed with age, the lino flooring in the en-suite is lifting and there is mould in the shower (see pics). I haven't been to prison, but this is the closest I feel I have come to realise what this would be like. I was transferred to room 9 which was an improvement (not difficult). However, it was still very small, lack of USB port and plug sockets generally, also still suffered from road noise which seems to be everywhere you go. It did have garden views over a roof. It isn't even cheap (actually I feel that it is really expensive for what it is), I regularly stay at the 4 star Copthorne in Brierley Hill, which is far better and I get a large comfortable room cheaper. I tried dinner one night. Bizarre food, I was hungry so ate it, but never again. The food waiting staff seemed more interested in talking to each other rather than serving you, possibly because of a lack of customers. I had to go to look for someone to serve me breakfast on 2 mornings. I like to sit outside after breakfast which meant me having to wipe a chair on the terrace to save getting wet and dirty. The television coverage wasn't reliable. I was so happy to come to the end of my sentence at the Grimscote Manor Hotel and can't even start to comprehend how this place receives positive reviews.

Having been the year prior for breakfast with Santa and being impressed we booked again for this year and wow they pulled off another amazing visit beating last yearโ€™s event hands down.||My boys both enjoyed making snow globes, and having their faces painted and was so excited to see Santa.|The whole of the team worked really hard to make the morning magical for every family that attended.|I would highly recommend and we will be back next year .
