We stayed for 4 nights in an annex en-suite room at Grinstead Lodge to be near our daughter to help with DIY at her new house. Robin, the proprietor, was friendly and really helpful. He took an interest in what we were doing, gave plumbing tips and useful equipment to borrow! The room, although small, was adequate and had plenty of storage. It was also quiet. Robin cooked a good quality breakfast. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We had a lovely two night stay at the East Grinstead Lodge. Robin was the most welcoming person we have ever stayed with on our overnight stays. He is a very friendly and helpful person. The breakfast was superb. Rooms comfortable and the whole place had a homely atmosphere. Would not hesitate to visit again in the future. Thank you Robin

I stayed several times last year while visiting my elderly mum in a nursing home nearby. Robin, the owner, could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful, during what was a difficult time for me. The accommodation with en-suite bathroom, cleaned daily, is a good standard for a B&B, with tea & coffee making facilities in the room and I would guess that Robin's generous cooked breakfast is the best you can find anywhere in East Grinstead! Good value-for-money and would definitely recommend.

This is a great place to stay. Robin Emery is very helpful and will always do what he can to ensure that you enjoy your stay. The rooms are warm, clean and well stocked. Breakfast is what you want (choice of fry up, toast, cereal etc.) or a combination of them. I have stayed here a few times before and would recommend Grinstead Lodge to anyone. The price is excellent for what you get. I am going to be going to that area again soon and need not look anywhere else to stay, as Grinstead Lodge has so much going for it. I am a member of the National Trust and there are so many places not too far away. Definitely a good B&B.

We visited East Grinstead for the weekend just gone and used Grinstead Lodge as our base for the two nights. Our four rooms were very clean and comfortable with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The location is ideal and off-street car parking was at the lodge. The nightly room rate was very reasonable and the cooked breakfasts were VERY ||enjoyable indeed. It was great chatting to Robin, the owner, and if we ever return to the area we will have no hesitation in staying at Grinstead Lodge again.

We stayed as a family (of 5) in two rooms for a local company function. The rooms were clean, spacious and equipped with everything that you need for a short stay. Robin was friendly and helpful and was able to accommodate me staying an extra night, at short notice, and at a very good price. Breakfast was lovely and had plenty of options.||||Would definitely stay again and happy to recommend.

Stayed for few days, bedroom was lovely and clean not the biggest bathrooms but was still fine, Robin who runs guest house was always willing to help and breakfast was definitely worth having and unbelievable included in the £45 charge for the night. Will definitely be back. Thanks Robin was a great stay.

I stayed on a Saturday night. Very friendly welcome from Robin, a very urbane, relaxed proprietor, who help with my luggage - I had a crutch. Very comfortable room especially for a single person. Breakfast was excellent, and all in all a very reasonable.guest house. Very good value for money
