We were provided with the most excellent of experiences by Pete and his highly diligent, friendly and experienced team! ||Pete helped us out with a huge amount of the planning for our wedding and made the process so smooth and efficient!||When we arrived for our wedding weekend, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our correct rooms! The whole operation was effectively managed and staff we flexible to every request we made!||Pete even allowed us to use his BBQ to feed the wedding party the night before and my dad (who is slightly barbecue obsessed) said it was one of the best BBQ's he has ever cooked on!||Our actual wedding day preparation was made so much less stressful as Pete, Ed and all the staff were never afraid to pitch in to help wherever they could... moving trees, setting up tables and what have you!||We were served a delicious full English breakfast with tea and coffee a plenty! Pete somehow made the fried eggs perfectly every time!||Overall staying at Groomes was an absolutely fantastic experience made even better by the attentive, well trained and kind Staff team!||This venue is perfect for weddings and myself and my wife Ellie highly recommend it to anyone who is planning a function of any size and type!

From the very first day, working with Pete and Ed at Groomes Farm was an absolute dream! Planning a wedding in just 3 months was a challenge, but they made the impossible happen. Their hospitality and deep knowledge of all things weddings transformed our special day into a celebration beyond our wildest dreams. We are truly grateful for all the care and attention they gave us – without their guidance and expertise, our wedding wouldn’t have been as magical.

Groomes Farm itself is simply breathtaking. Every room in the house had its own private bathroom, which made it so comfortable and convenient for our guests. The incredible views surrounding the property were picture-perfect, and the hot tub was such a treat! It was the ideal mix of luxury and privacy, making our stay unforgettable.

What truly sets this venue apart is the level of care and attention to detail that Pete and Ed provide. Despite the tight timeline, they made every step of the planning process feel effortless, and no question or request was too big or too small. Communication was flawless – they were always quick to respond with creative solutions and helpful advice.

Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the house and the overall experience. We couldn’t have been happier! We used Groomes as our wedding venue including staying 2 nights with some of our bridal party. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for, absolutely beautiful countryside surroundings, the most hidden little secret place. Pete was so accommodating to all of our crazy ideas ensuring that everything was orchestrated to a tee including amazing ideas and suggestions that we didn’t even know we wanted. Pete, Ed and the team were so helpful in the lead up, and throughout the day, no job was too big - they couldn’t do enough for us. Every single one of our guests said how amazing the venue was, how well the day went and what a perfect and fun wedding it was! So thrilled, thank you so much for the best day ever 😊

Came for a hen do in June and had the best time ever. There were 14 of us and there was plenty of space for us all in the very generously sized and beautifully finished bedrooms. The outdoor space really made it, the weather was beautiful which meant we spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying the stunning views. There is an outdoor covered/ sheltered dining area that comfortably fit us all in, with outdoor fridge and bbq. The accommodation is set up perfectly for group parties with outdoor lighting and speaker system, along with the hottub. The hosts are super welcoming and accommodating (and have very cute dogs)! I would definitely recommend to other hen groups or any large groups, really lovely home for the weekend.

I spent last weekend in this beautiful house, celebrating a friend's birthday. We were looking for somewhere that would accommodate up to 8 couples and additional guests for the Saturday night. We could not have found anywhere more perfect for this. All the bedrooms were big all with ensuites. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed to cook for 18 people. A cosy snug room, where some guests sat and enjoyed the football. A games room with a pinball machine, pool table and table football.||The garden room is a real treat, and we made full use of this with a singer and dj afterwards. The house was spotless and had everything we needed.||||In the run up to the event, Pete the owner could not be more helpful. Any questions I had, he answered promptly and even gave me ideas and contacts for Private chefs and murder mystery companies. We went ahead and booked the murder mystery for the Saturday night. This venue worked so well for this. ||He also arranged for me to view the house prior to our visit, which was so helpful for organizing the weekend. ||||This venue is ideal for getting friends and families together to celebrate an event or to just get away from the hustle and bustle of life and relax. The grounds are beautiful, and sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset was a real treat. ||||We also had a couple of dogs with us for the weekend and I think they enjoyed the house and grounds as much as we did. ||||Thank you Pete and Jane for making our weekend so memorable.

We stayed here for our friends wedding back in May. Wonderful place to get married 💕 we had a beautiful room. Breakfast was delicious.
Pete and Jane the hosts and their family did a fantastic job looking after us all.

Absolutely fantastic time , with the hosts, Pete and Jane, being very accommodating and communicative . |The house and grounds are just lovely and provided a base for family and friends to stay and enjoy my daughters wedding nearby . |The accommodation was so clean , the kitchen so large and well equipped ,with the outdoor Coach house and garden room being just perfect for us to lounge and eat in ,as we had a gloriously sunny weekend . |Great stay, thank you !
