Went for breakfast as we were visiting the area. The staff were friendly and the food was good, but a little pricey in my opinion.

The layout of the cafe is also a bit awkward - they could probably fit more customers in if they had smaller tables or changed the layout slightly.

Would return if I am in the area, the poached eggs were cooked to perfection.

We come here regularly, without excepetion, for a breakfast treat when visiting the area. I never had a bad experience and have tried most items on the menu. Food is amazing, some very exiting, non standard items, sourdough bread is the highlight and coffee is excellent. Not cheap but so worth it.

Staff are always attentative and friendly. Lovely decor and atmosphere, nice customers too, we always chat to people. I only wish this cafe was on the beach, it would than be for me the perfect and best cafe in the UK!

We visited as a group of four hoping to find a table for breakfast as we'd heard that it was jolly good.
We entered the café to find that it was full of dogs, on the floor, on laps, one even licking from a plate at a table.
Needless to say that we didn't stay.
Clearly, they are very dog friendly in G&G, maybe a tad too dog friendly for those of us who prefer to eat without our canine friends dominating the environment.

Do you like enormous and interesting sandwiches with healthy fillings and proper bread? What about a cafe that sources its produce locally? And if that cafe also holds strong core values? I bloody love a place like that. Planning a return visit because the mushrooms on toast looked like something I need to experience.

Lovely food, nice vegan options. The smashed avocado on toast was the best one I've ever had.. full of lovely seeds and really nice bread. Gorgeous coffee too. To add, the staff are all really lovely. Nice vibe. I would recommend 100%

It’s seldom that Cafes in the U.K. know how to make a decent coffee. This one does. In fact you can even get a decent cortado here which is even rarer. Another feature which you don’t encounter often on the high street: it’s immaculately clean. Service is quick and efficient. Well done. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Delightful Aussie style Cafe with excellent coffee and lovely food with high quality ingredients - menu includes sandwiches, flatbreads and salads. There are tables outside and shared tables inside including a snug area in the back. Good wifi (no mobile signal in this area).
The team are friendly and soft music in background adds to the relaxed vibe. This place would not be out of place in Manly, Mornington Peninsula or Byron Bay, East Preston is very fortunate to have a gem like this.
