Love the concept, the food is obviously good quality, well made and well sourced. Unfortunately we couldn’t really get on board with what appeared to be the taste of the bugs (particularly in the bolognese). I’d probably have described it as having a ‘dusty’ sort of flavour, which was really difficult to ignore, and slightly overpowered everything else on the plate. But assume it’s just that our palettes aren’t yet adapted to eating bugs? Would have been good to use more ingredients with stronger flavours to balance that taste out. The burger was really good though, and loved the insectly garnishings!

I was nervous to try the bug burger. I needn't have worried it was delicious. The burger had a pleasant flavour and a surprisingly soft texture. The meal was garnished with whole crickets and mealworms which were really nice, slightly nutty and well worth trying. The whole presentation of the meal was very good and the fries were excellent. My wife enjoyed it too and my son loved his Bolognese. We will eat insects again. Also try the chocolate chip cricket cookies. Mmmmm!

Amazing restaurant! Can't complain. We had the chilli spiced cricket snackpot, vexo (plant and insect protein mince) burger and mixed insect pakoras. All delicious and (even as a squeamish person myself) we had a wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend going for the buggiest sounding food because you'll absolutely be happily surprised! We will 100% be going again and will be bringing all our friend with us. Wish I could give it a 6/10. Thankyou 👏👏👏
