My husband and I stayed in The Pendicle hut recently and it was such an incredible place. The hut is wonderful with everything you need and everything in there is luxury! The views are just stunning and everything about this place is just amazing! The perfect getaway to have a nice switch off from a busy world and treat yourself.
The veg from their store is also just so yummy!

A very special place. Perfect for a weekend escape to reconnect with nature and loved ones. The cabin is very well equipped and there are helpful staff for any other requests. During our stay the monthly market was on which offered all local produce and crafts. Highly highly recommended, we will be back for sure!

MUST VISIT! One of thee most exciting and calm places to stay in all of Scotland. A beautiful warmth is here, unlike any I’ve known elsewhere. Everyone on the farm is friendly and helpful. There is a cute little provision shop for all your needs while you’re there too! The food is beautiful. The people are kind. All around one the most special stays we’ve ever had!

We stayed in the Farmhouse for my dads 60th birthday and we had the best time! Anna was so helpful in the booking of our stay and really accommodated us which we massively appreciate. The farmhouse is stunning and is equipped with everything you could think of! The breakfast was so lovely and set us up for our walk to the swings and the boat which are both well worth a visit!! We came away feeling refreshed and recharged and I cant wait to come back to try out the rest of the accommodation! It was really handy that when we had any questions it was as simple as sending a quick text and replies were super fast. The little shop was handy and we bought some marshmallows to roast on the outdoor firepit (we braved the Scottish drizzle and my dad ensured we got the fire going 🤣)

The only thing I would recommend is having a wee print out of the recycling regime and some labels on the bins to say which is which. We discovered we were doing the food recycling wrong as it seems to differ from each county. However this is a very small observation from our stay and we really could not fault a single thing.

I have been recommending everyone to look at Guardswell Farm, its such a treasure and I am so glad we discovered it. Thank you for helping make my dad's 60th birthday so special 🥰

My husband and I stayed in the Pendicle hut this weekend. We both had a fantastic time. The cabin was clean and quaint. The Pendicle has an electric shower, a toilet and a little kitchen area with both hot and cold water, and cooking utensils. There is a fire pit in the field behind the cabin - along with some black sheep!

Overall the cabin was clean and well maintained, however when we pulled the foldaway table out from under the bed, it was covered in hair and dirt which was not very pleasant.

Bring good walking boots for exploring the farm as the walking trails are not well established so there was a good amount of walking through fields with long grass and sheep droppings!

5/5 - we will definitely be back again!

I can’t rate Guardswell highly enough. We stayed some years ago for a wedding and knew we’d have to return (which we just have!)

Anna always gives such a warm welcome, nothing is too much trouble.

Staying at Guardswell is a real opportunity to connect back with nature. It is in such a beautiful location with incredible views. The facilities in the wash shed are great. Everything is functional and well designed.

Guardswell and The Infield are a gem in the Scottish countryside. The cozy hut is the perfect place to relax with amazing views and just a short walk away from lots of interactions with cute animals. The entire space is surrounded by hills, fields and forests. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay in the Pendicle cabin on the farm. The cabin was stunning and beautifully designed. It had everything we needed and the view from the cabin was out of this world. We felt like the only ones there and loved having the freedom of being able to go on big walks around the farm.
Anna was so accommodating and helped us with any questions we had. The honesty box was fully stocked with the most delicious ingredients produced on the farm. It was also great that we could take our dog with us who had a brilliant time too.
We were so sad to leave and will now be saving up for our next visit! Thank you again!!
