To start with the place was quite hard to find. It is in the same building as some other businesses but has no indication from the outside that Gudi is also in this space.

I booked a 1 hour deep tissue massage, specifying that my problem areas were one side of my back and my left leg and foot.

Although my masseuse was friendly and polite, I felt he wasn’t very knowledgeable and experienced in massage. His technique felt very rushed and not at all like deep tissue (I have had many from very places). He felt more like he was applying sun cream to my back than massaging. He quickly moved from my back to my arms and hands and spent most of the time there. The technique he used on my arms was like he was giving me chinese burns!

When I thought he was going to move on to my legs, as he moved the towel away from them, he then spent about 10 minutes washing his hands repeatedly. At this point he had given no indication that the massage was over so I was still expecting him to return to my legs. He then gave me a pat and said it was over and left the room.

I shall not be returning and only went in the first place as I had a Groupon voucher. I will definitely stick to my usual masseuse elsewhere !

Booked a massage through Groupon. They called and rescheduled (due to their own booking system and lack of staff) about 5 times over a 4 week period. 2 hours before the last massage was supposed to happen they cancelled again via text, and have not called me back, after messaging them several times over the last two days. Do not recommend booking here, have lost my money!

This is my 1st time at a massage parlour and it wont be the last. Booked a couples massage through Groupon and communication was quick and easy. I was given a deep muscle massage which was just amazing. Nice small, warm room and quite homely which left you feeling utterly relaxed. From my experience, I'd definitely reccomend

Very poor quality massage.
The room was really quite dirty there where hairs everywhere, I’m pretty sure the towels had not been cleaned before we arrived.
We arrived on time and despite being told on the phone that we could pay by PayPal when we arrived this was no longer possible and we had to walk to the cash point.
The towels were too small and didn’t cover my whole body. Lisa’s phone was vibrating all throughout the massage and and she actually used a vibrating instrument on my back which was painful and also I’m sure hadn’t been cleaned.
It was cheap -35£ but to be honestly I don’t think it was even worth £15. I would not recommend it and I will never go back.

First booking was cancelled morning of, second attempt I turned up for my appointment to be told by receptionist that the therapist went home hours ago, for the director to then message me saying we need to cancel because the therapist has diarrhoea!! Furious that no one called me! I was then convinced by Lea to attempt a 3rd booking with the amazing felicity who was supposed to be the best therapist she had. I agreed, attended the booking to be greeted by a young man who said felicity did not work these days even though I had a confirmation!! Massage was ok, room was cold, no music whatsoever so quite awkward. Went away annoyed and not very relaxed at all. Considering I had to arrange childcare for my baby 3 times it was a massive waste of money.

Was gifted massage as birthday present. Booked and confirmed appointment. Turned up and receptionist said that we'd been double booked (as had another customer before us) and said we'd be contacted to re-arrange. Spent a couple of weeks messing around trying to rebook with promises and excuses being made. Eventually promised refund which didn't materialise. Chased refund with continual complaints until it was eventually received. Shambolic - I would recommend doing anything other than booking a massage here. Literally anything. (I'm not sure you can trust the owners response to feedback here...)

I’ve used Gudi twice now with different masseurs each time. I found both times to be enjoyable and relaxing, the room is warm, smells lovely and the massage is tailored towards your needs for that session. I must say that I much prefer the new premises!

Really poor booking management. Like a lot of other comments I too had booked via groupon.
First appointment was booked on a wrong day even though I accurately texted the date and day I needed. Second reschedule I turned up on time only to know the masseuse missed her train and didnt turn up. Was sent back.

Only good thing was I received a prompt refund but had a terrible experience as my time was wasted. Not recommended!
