Clean was a good start. However bed too small, bathroom door was faulty. No bed side lamp so navigating four single beds to go to the bathroom was difficult. Only I double plug in a room designed to sleep four. Towels felt as though they had been washed in starch. No complimentary soap or shampoo Price did not include breakfast. As a coach driver I stay in many B&B /Hotels/Guest houses sorry to say this one is not on the"must stay again"

Booked an overnight stay via Expedia for our family of 4. All set for our weekend away and having already spent over three hours in the car on route to Liverpool, we were completely stunned when my husband received a message from the venue cancelling our booking.||Call to find out if perhaps it was a mistake only to be told that they hadn't authorised Expedia to book their rooms. Made some calls to other venues but at such short notice, prices were all sky high. So that was that - weekend upended and had to cut short our trip & travel back that night! ||Wouldn't trust any booking made at The Manor Guest House in Liverpool now - whether it was their error or Expedia's, our weekend was ruined at very short notice.

Lovely spotlessly clean comfortable bed . John was very helpful nothing was to much trouble. Would recommend this guest house and will definitely be staying again thanks for a lovely stay

stayed here for 2 nights and can highly recommend it, clean tidy warm 15 minute walk to Aintree and John the owner is always on hand should you need him. Off road gated parking and a pub opposite.

I've just came back from a long weekend. We stayed at the manor house. J.C. was very friendly and helpfull, room was very nice and large. I have been visiting liverpool for many many years and this is one of the best guest houses I have stayed in. I shall definately be back.

Be aware of this hotel! I have been thrown out in the middle of the night by the receptionist who is also the owner, because I wanted to make a complaint. He was even about to attack me , the situation got out of control. Please do not risk and take accommodation there!!

Horrible experience, no soap available, wi-fi is a mess, and an aggressive receptionist that threw us out on the streets in the middle of the night , because we complained . A horror story , never again!!
